Danny Santana Activated From IL, Not In Lineup Sunday
Danny Santana was placed back on the active roster ahead of Sunday’s contest against the Rockies after having been sidelined since July 28 due to a strained right forearm. Santana was not among the starting nine, although he presumably should be ready to return to the mix Monday against the Padres and right-hander Zach Davies. Off to a 1-for-17 start at the dish, Santana’s sample size remains small enough for owners to hit the proverbial reset button. After a breakout 2019 campaign that saw him deliver 57 extra-base hits and 21 stolen bases, Santana is a high-upside, high-risk season-long and DFS play at this stage.
