FanDuel DFS Pitchers
Lance McCullers Jr. - P, HOU at ARI ($8,100)
McCullers had a rough outing his last time out, but this is a great spot for him to bounce back against Arizona. The Diamondbacks offense is off to an awful start, as they've been the third-weakest lineup against righties with a pitiful .254 wOBA. McCullers still has plenty of strikeout upside as well, as he's been striking out a batter per inning. This may be a spot where you are able to get McCullers at a low ownership and a reasonable price, so he's a great option if you don't want to pay for the popular picks in Mike Clevinger or Yu Darvish.
Sean Manaea - P, OAK v. TEX ($6,800)
Manaea is another buy-low candidate who comes in at an extreme discount. The Rangers have been lost against left-handed pitching this season, striking out 29.3% of the time. Manaea does not normally strike out a ton of batters, so the added potential for an uptick in strikeouts boosts his value considerably. Manaea's got a 2.88 FIP against a 7.00 ERA, suggesting that his struggles shouldn't continue.
FanDuel DFS Infielders
Carlos Santana - 1B, CLE v. Tejay Antone ($2,900)
Santana and the Indians are in a tremendous spot against Antone, who is a 26-year-old making just his second big league appearance after posting a 4.65 ERA in triple-A last year. Santana is off to a slow start but is still way too cheap for a guy who posted a .911 OPS last year. Santana is in a great spot for RBI batting cleanup, and you should pair him with teammates like Jose Ramirez and Cesar Hernandez as part of a stack.
Jose Altuve, 2B, HOU at Robbie Ray ($3,600)
Altuve absolutely destroys left-handed pitching, as he posted a 176 wRC+ against southpaws in 2019 and just homered off a lefty last night. He's in another great spot against Ray, who is having an awful year with an 8.64 ERA and a 20.9% walk-rate. He's worth paying the premium at a weak second base position.
Kris Bryant - 3B, CHC at Kris Bubic ($3,700)
In a Kris on Kris showdown, Bryant is in quite the advantageous position against a rookie in Bubic. Bryant is another lefty-masher to take advantage of, as he had a 1.055 OPS off of lefties last season. He's in an awesome spot batting leadoff for the Cubs, who have been one of the league's best lineups so far.
Bo Bichette - SS, TOR at Sean Newcomb ($2,800)
Newcomb, owner of an 8.22 ERA, is another starter who we want to target on this slate. Bichette is one of the cheapest leadoff options you will find, so enjoy the extra plate appearances and opportunities for runs. Bichette batted .311 after being called up last year and is a great option in cash games for his high floor.
FanDuel DFS Outfielders
Luis Robert - OF, CHW v. Adrian Houser ($3,200)
Robert has found his way into the leadoff spot after an injury to Tim Anderson, and he is certainly deserving of it. Robert is off to an incredible start, with two homers and four steals to go with a .997 OPS. LuBob already looks to be one of the most exciting young players in the sport, so get him at this price while you still can.
Max Kepler - OF, MIN at Trevor Williams ($3,100)
Kepler has a machine-like ability to get on base, as last night he didn't even record an official at-bat yet still scored two runs while snagging an RBI and a steal thanks to four walks and a sac-fly. Expect another strong performance against Williams, who has a 5.40 ERA in 2020 after a 5.38 ERA in 2019. The Twins are also a lineup to consider stacking.
Alex Dickerson - OF, SF at Jon Gray ($3,100)
Dickerson is one of the cheapest starters you will find in Coors Field, which is the league's top hitter's park. Dickerson has always been able to hit when he's been on the field, with a career .806 OPS. He will have lots of run and RBI opportunities batting second for the Giants.
