Wilson Ramos Returns To Camp
Wilson Ramos returned to Mets' camp on Tuesday after a three-day absence to deal with personal matters. Mets manager Luis Rojas was noncommittal when asked about whether Ramos would be ready by Opening Day. The Mets signed catcher Rene Rivera to their 40-man roster on Sunday as insurance in the event Ramos is not ready to go. In 2019, Ramos hit .288/.351/.416 with 14 home runs and 73 RBI in 141 games in his first season for the Mets. Ramos should be a solid low-end starting catcher in all formats while hitting in the Mets potent lineup.
