Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy NASCAR Lineup Picks

"Peace up, A-Town down" is the start to one of the most "En Fuego" jams by Usher, and I figured it would bring the extra heat needed to get us ready for the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway (damn that's long). After a long wait, NASCAR will visit the track they missed due to COVID-19 earlier in the season, and for me, it's sort of special. I can't describe the feeling really, but let's just say I feel like this is the weekend for big moves (in bank accounts and on racetracks).

On Thursday night, Jinsey Stinson and I broke down the drivers team by team on the Garage Guys Fantasy Sports Podcast, and I immediately picked a few NASCAR DFS guys that would be covered in this race's preview (video below). There are so many good options based on history and starting position, but we can't squeeze all of those highly projected guys into one lineup. I feel really good about these guys, and by using them, it allows for some stacks on DraftKings and FanDuel that you'll want to shut the door to stare at (Remember Ruxin from the show The League after draft night?).

Before we get to my picks, I wanted to take this time to thank you guys for reading my articles every week. We're in some challenging times right now as a nation, and I want you all to know that I'm here for anyone that wants to talk about the things happening in our country, NASCAR, or Fantasy Sports in general. I pride myself on connecting with readers, viewers, and listeners of my content, and I'm available anytime on Twitter (@GarageGuyChase).

DFS Lineup Picks - DraftKings, FanDuel

Be sure to also check out all of our other weekly NASCAR DFS articles and analysis to help you set your optimal DFS lineups, including my weekly YouTube video:

Kevin Harvick #4

(DraftKings $11,700 | FanDuel $14,000 | DK SportsBook +500 )

Harvick is the first driver that came to my mind earlier this week. The veteran has dominated this track for a long time, and still has what it takes to shake the field up. With Harvick starting P9, and having eight Top 10 finishes since 2010, he's a solid bet that shouldn't be passed up this weekend in the ATL.

Erik Jones #20

(DraftKings $6,600 | FanDuel $9,000 | DK SportsBook +2800)

I'm still trying to figure out if DraftKings or myself was more distracted when going over driver pricing, because Jones is stupid cheap this week (huge shoutout to the YouTube commenter that pointed this out to me because I'm human, and I miss things sometimes). Jones earns his spot next to McDowell as a "Chalk Boi" this weekend starting in P14. There are some other drivers I prefer over Jones this week, but with none of them being in his price range, you have to add him in some lineups to make super stacks.

Kurt Busch #1

(DraftKings $9,400 | FanDuel $11,000 | DK SportsBook +2000 )

Monster Ganassi Busch should be on his "Buschit" this week at one of his most successful tracks on the schedule. Busch undeniably has the same vibe of a journeyman quarterback in football when looking back to all the different teams he's raced for, but this weekend, he's equivalent to a Top 5 QB in the league with Top 10s for days since 2009. Busch has everything he needs to finish inside the Top 5 on Sunday, but it's up to him to truly flip that switch.

Michael McDowell #34

(DraftKings $5,200 | FanDuel $4,000 | DK SportsBook +100,000 )

By no means should you waste your money betting on McDowell this weekend with those odds (I would be on life support if that hit), but in fantasy he's the chalkiest value on the board. McDowell is running Front Row Motorsports equipment, and we have seen his rookie teammate (John Hunter Nemechek) do well at Darlington a few weeks ago. McDowell has never finished at this track with a Top 20, but with him starting P36, I'll be happy to just see him finish inside the Top 30 (but I want him to do some "old dog new tricks" type stuff on Sunday).

Tyler Reddick #8

(DraftKings $8,300 | FanDuel $7,800 | DK SportsBook +6000 )

Reddick is the ultimate "Rookie Boi" this weekend starting in P24. I had to adjust my shares of him while constructing my lineups (that rarely happens to me) because I feel he's a really solid play. The biggest selling point for Reddick this Sunday is his stellar performances at intermediate tracks, his Xfinity record, and the potential place differential he will gain (Dude is gonna ball out, but I can only say stuff like that in parenthesis).

Martin Truex Jr. #19

(DraftKings $9,600 | FanDuel $12,200 | DK SportsBook +1000 )

I'm leaning towards Truex Jr. more on DraftKings this week than FanDuel due to this strange lingering of the bad luck stink he's been bathing in over the last few races. I expected Truex Jr. to have bagged a race by now, but something is off, and it's showing. Regardless of my negative talk, Truex Jr. must be respected in Atlanta due to his average place differential of 12 spots, which if reached will put him winning the race starting from P11.

Alex Bowman #88

(DraftKings $9,100 | FanDuel $11,400 | DK SportsBook +1000)

I have prepared to be questioned for favoring Bowman over the other Hendrick drivers, and instead of you asking me about it, I'm just going to answer you now. Bowman doesn't have an outstanding record at this track by any means, but Bowman, and his car have become one over the past few months. Bowman starts from P8, and I look for him to use tricks he's learned at tracks like Auto Club, and Chicagoland to compete for his first Atlanta win (Yes, I think Bowman can win).

Brad Keselowski #2

(DraftKings $8,900 | FanDuel $13,200 | DK SportsBook +800 )

I debated on writing "He's Brad K and he is $8,900 in a cup series race on DraftKings" three-time to make this paragraph easy on you guys, but his seemingly more accurate pricing on FanDuel kept me from following through. I could spend the rest of this article talking about how mindblown I am, but looking at the stats, Keselowski has everything going for him to be the highest owned driver this weekend (Who sets these prices!? lolololol). Keselowski has won this race twice in three years, and is in prime position to jump to the front early from P6.

Bonus Video

I'm not a fan of Atlanta because of my New Orleans roots, but I do love some of the artists that came from the city. I have to throw you guys one of my favorites by OutKast to get you hyped up for Sunday. Enjoy two legends making legendary sounds ATL style!
