Hendrick Motorsports driver Chase Elliott is looking for his first career Cup Series win at Las Vegas. In six starts at the track, Elliott has three Top 10 finishes, including the last two races at LVMS. In the last ten races at 1.5 Mile Intermediate tracks, Elliott has led laps in five different events and scored four Top 5 finishes. The driver of the #9 Chevrolet generally runs solidly at 1.5 Mile Intermediate tracks but, he has shown inconsistent results at Las Vegas under a few starts.
