FanDuel DFS Pitchers

Noah Syndergaard: SP, NYM vs COL ($8,400)

It's been a frustrating season for Syndergaard, but there are plenty of reasons to believe in a bounce-back. Syndergaard has an outstanding 2.91 Deserved Run Average and a 3.60 FIP, suggesting that there's significant positive regression on the way. Thor has been an elite starting pitcher option for his entire career, so it's very tough pass him up at this price. He's coming off of back-to-back quality starts and should have a great performance against the Rockies, who are awful on the road. They've got just a .288 wOBA with a 26.9% K-rate away from Coors Field, and Syndergaard will get to face them in pitcher-friendly Citi Field. Buy low on Syndergaard while you still can.

Wade Miley : SP, HOU vs BAL ($7,500)

Miley has pitched well for the Astros over the last month, striking out 37 batters in 35 innings with a 3.60 ERA. If Miley can keep the strikeout numbers up, he will be a valuable play against the Orioles, who strike out at a 26.1% clip against left-handers. It's worth noting that Miley's 3.39 ERA on the year has definitely been supported by some good luck, but Baltimore is a below-average lineup that he should be able to handle.

FanDuel DFS Infielders

Jose Abreu: 1B, CWS at KAN ($3,800)

Abreu has been a stellar source of of power numbers out of the White Sox three-hole, with 52 RBI and 16 home runs this season. He is in a great spot against Royals starter Glenn Sparkman, who is a major regression candidate, as he's got a very low 14.2% strikeout-rate with a poor 4.98 SIERA.

Mike Moustakas: 2B, MIL vs PIT ($3,800)

The second base slate is quite bleak today, so taking the most expensive guy off the board in Moustakas looks like your best bet. Moose is well worth the price, as he should see plenty of RBI opportunities batting fifth against Steven Brault, owner of a 5.45 ERA. Moustakas is always a threat to go deep when he's at home in hitter-friendly Miller Park, and he can be paired with cheaper Brewers bats in Hernan Perez and Ryan Braun as part of a stack.

Matt Chapman: 3B, OAK at TEX ($3,700)

Chapman has been crushing the ball over the last two weeks with five homers and a .904 OPS. He'll be in an extremely hitter-friendly environment this afternoon in Texas against Drew Smyly, who has an abysmal 7.93 ERA with a 2.79 HR/9. Chapman has solidified himself as a high-end performer at third base by slashing his K-rate down to just 18.4% while also posting a career-high walk-rate. He is in line for a huge performance today.

Adalberto Mondesi: SS, KAN vs CWS ($3,800)

Mondesi's unique ability to rack up steals while accruing runs and RBI batting third for the Royals makes him an attractive play in GPP contests. He gets an easy opponent in Reynaldo Lopez, who has given up 19 earned runs in 13 1/3 innings across his last three starts. Speed tends to be the most undervalued skill in daily fantasy, and Mondesi has been on a torrid pace with 24 steals.

FanDuel DFS Outfielders

Nelson Cruz: OF, MIN at DET ($3,100)

It shouldn't be long before Cruz's price adjusts, as he's now homered in three straight games. For now, continue to take advantage of an elite hitter who is remarkably underpriced. Cruz has a 153 wRC+ against southpaws this year and faces a weak one in Ryan Carpenter, who has a 6.53 ERA in 2019.

Mallex Smith: OF, SEA at LAA ($2,900)

Smith is extremely hot as he enters today's contest, batting .309 with an .821 OPS and eight steals in the last 15 days. He can provide lots of value in runs and steals as the Mariners leadoff hitter and has been much better against left-handed pitching this year - he faces a lefty in Jose Suarez, who has just one big league start.

Bryan Reynolds: OF, PIT at MIL ($3,200)

Reynolds continues to somehow stay under the radar despite completely mashing over the last month, batting .343 with a .955 OPS. He'll be batting second in a hitter's park in Milwaukee and is a fantastic value play.
