The Cleveland Browns are working on a deal to hire former Arizona Cardinals head coach Steve Wilks as their next defensive coordinator, according to sources. The Browns have a strong nucleus to work with on that side of the ball, lead by cornerback Denzel Ward and defensive end Myles Garrett. Wilks ran successful defensive units in his time with the Panthers before becoming the lead man in the desert for one season. Cleveland's defense ranked 30th in yards allowed per game (393.0), 25th in passing yards allowed (257.8), 28th in rushing yards allowed (135.2) and 21st in points allowed per game (24.5) in 2018. On the bright side, they were second in the NFL with 31 total takeaways.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
