World Cup DFS Lineup Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings: Matchday 7

With three games in Group A and B, Monday's showdowns are Morocco vs Portugal, Saudi Arabia vs Uruguay, and Spain vs Iran. Due to the multiple games being played, lineups are back to their normal constructions. Below we bring you seven players you should consider as World Cup DFS lineup picks for Matchday 7 (on June 20th, 2018).

Not all are top-tier options, as there is a range of DFS value picks, sleepers and high-risk players mixed in.

Consider all of these players for your DFS lineups; however, at the end of the day, it is always your decision. Good luck, RotoBallers.

WC DFS Forwards to Consider

Cristiano Ronaldo - F, Portugal (DK - $12,600, FD - $13,000)

There's a reason why Ronaldo is the most expensive player on the slate. A hat trick in his opening match, Ronaldo proved that his could be his tournament. With a game against a suspect Morocco defense, Ronaldo has every chance to add to his goal tally and cement himself as the top scorer in the tournament once more. Ronaldo is the team's main attacking threat, making him a must-own in GPP formats.

Andre Silva - F, Portugal (DK - $6,800, FD - $8,000)

If you are banking on upside for your forwards and can't have Ronaldo, Suarez, and Cavani on your team, rostering impact sub Andre Silva could be the way to go. With a terrific goal scoring record for his national side and a chance for an impact after the poor play of Guedes in the opening match, Silva has the chance to earn the starting gig and, even if he is on the bench, his DraftKings price makes him a worthy Tournament pickup.

WC DFS Midfielders to Consider

Thiago Alacantara - M, Spain (DK - $7,100, FD - $8,000)

The Bayern Munich and Spain midfielder is a weapon for his side and should be the creative outlet for Spain in their game against Iran tomorrow. Iran are a decent side but should be no match for the Spanish outfit, making Thiago a premier play at his price point, especially on DraftKings. Thiago is not known for his goalscoring prowess but is still an attacking threat and a good bet to produce in tomorrow's slate on both sites.

Nahitan Nandez - M, Uruguay (DK - $4,300, FD - $5,500)

His starting spot is in jeopardy, but young Uruguayan winger Nahitan Nandez is still an excellent upside play on DraftKings and therefore warrants Tournament lineup consideration as they take on minnows Saudi Arabia. Expect a high-scoring game, and expect Nandez to make an impact from the wings if they involve him in the game; he is definitely worth a look in Tournament formats, but probably isn't the best GPP play.

WC DFS Defenders to Consider

Guillermo Varela - D, Uruguay (DK - $4,500, FD - $5,000)

Uruguay will most likely keep a clean sheet tomorrow - that is a given. That makes any lower-priced option at the back a sure bet in DFS contests regardless of the format. Add in that Varela is known for his crossing ability and could contribute in the offensive portion of the field and you have a wonderful lineup selection for tomorrow's slate in what is probably the most lopsided matchup of the tournament.

Achraf Hakimi - D, Morocco (DK - $4,400, FD - $5,500)

A contrarian play in tomorrow's lineups, Real Madrid youth product and Morocco fullback Achraf Hakimi performed well in the team's opening game, despite losing to Iran. The young fullback is an offensive weapon for his side and could cause an upset against a slightly overrated Portugal side. You shouldn't bet on it, but consider adding in Hakimi as a contrarian play in some of your Tournament lineups tomorrow.

WC DFS Goalies to Consider

Rui Patricio - G, Portugal (DK - $5,400, FD - 5,500)

If you are choosing between Muslera and De Gea, both are solid options to keep clean sheets and perform well in tomorrow's game. However, slightly cheaper and just as likely to keep a clean sheet is Portugal goalkeeper Rui Patricio. Even though his defense was suspect against Spain, a game against a lesser Morocco side should be enough to secure some solid points potential for the Portuguese shot-stopper. Therefore, Patricio is an excellent option in both GPP and Tournament contests tomorrow as an almost-elite tier goalkeeper with a good matchup.

Good luck this weekend!
