Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 7:
Breece Hall, New York Jets
New York Jets running back Breece Hall (quadriceps) will be limited in Friday's practice and listed as questionable for Sunday's Week 7 matchup against the Miami Dolphins, according to Rich Cimini of ESPN. Hall missed Wednesday's practice before returning in a limited capacity Thursday, his first participation since suffering the injury in Week 3.
He has missed three consecutive games, with Braelon Allen handling the starting workload in his absence. Allen rushed for 116 yards and a touchdown against Cleveland in Week 5 before producing 104 scrimmage yards against New England last Sunday. Hall's three-game absence and Allen's recent production make his potential Week 7 workload difficult to project, leaving him a risky fantasy starter even if cleared to play.
MarShawn Lloyd, Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers running back MarShawn Lloyd faces an uncertain workload in Sunday's Week 7 matchup against Detroit, particularly with Josh Jacobs nearing his season debut. Lloyd rushed eight times for just 10 yards against Dallas last week and failed to catch his lone target, while Pierre Strong Jr. handled 11 carries and caught five passes.
Lloyd played 30 offensive snaps compared to Strong's 41, highlighting the competition for opportunities even before Jacobs' potential return. Lloyd has averaged just 2.5 yards per carry through six games, making his fantasy production heavily dependent on touchdowns. He scored twice against Chicago in Week 5, and Detroit has allowed six rushing touchdowns through five contests.
However, Detroit has limited opponents to 107 rushing yards per game, and Jacobs could reclaim early-down and goal-line opportunities if activated. Head coach Matt LaFleur indicated Friday that Jacobs is on track to play, although his availability and workload remain uncertain. RotoBaller ranks Lloyd RB46 for Week 7, making him a touchdown-dependent option who belongs on fantasy benches outside the deepest leagues.
Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams
Los Angeles Rams star wide receiver Puka Nacua (calf) is questionable to play on Sunday against the hosting Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7, according to Nate Atkins of The Athletic. Head coach Sean McVay said Nacua will be a game-time decision. Nacua tweaked his calf muscle in practice on Thursday, and although it is believed to be a mild injury, it does not mean that he will be cleared to play on Sunday against Vegas.
With veteran Davante Adams (hamstring) out for six to 10 weeks with a hamstring injury that requires surgery, the Rams could be down to Jordan Whittington, Konata Mumpfield, and Tutu Atwell as their top three receivers this weekend if Nacua does not get the green light to play. Making things more difficult for fantasy managers this week is the fact that the Rams do not kick off against the Raiders until the later window on Sunday.
We should have an update on Nacua's status on Saturday, so fantasy managers should check back for a clearer picture of his chances of playing. He is a must-start in all fantasy formats if he is active on Sunday. The two-time Pro Bowler already has 37 catches for 417 yards and a touchdown in his first four games in 2026.
Tyjae Spears, Tennessee Titans
Tennessee Titans running back Tyjae Spears (knee) is listed as questionable ahead of the Week 7 matchup against the Cleveland Browns. Spears didn't practice to begin the week, but got through a full session on Thursday, then downgraded to limited on Friday.
Spears has been dealing with nagging ankle and knee issues for weeks. Spears has been a non-factor most weeks anyway, outside of a nine-catch performance in Week 5. If he's unable to play, Tony Pollard would likely see a few more carries, which would increase his fantasy value slightly. When healthy, Spears is barely a deep league flex option, so he's probably best left on the bench in Week 7.
Kaelon Black, San Francisco 49ers
San Francisco 49ers rookie running back Kaelon Black remains a high-upside handcuff after rushing eight times for 34 yards in Monday's win over Washington. Black handled 26.8% of the team's rushing attempts, up from his 21.1% average share during Weeks 2-5. Christian McCaffrey remains the clear lead back, limiting Black's immediate fantasy value.
However, the rookie has established himself as San Francisco's primary backup and could inherit a substantial workload if McCaffrey misses time. Black is rostered in just 28% of Yahoo leagues, making him an appealing stash for fantasy managers seeking high-upside running back insurance.
