Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 5:
Tony Pollard, Tennessee Titans
Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard (foot) was a full participant in practice on Thursday after he was held out of practice on Wednesday, according to Jim Wyatt of the team's official website. Pollard has been battling through a minor foot injury in recent weeks, but he has not missed any games and should be good to go for Sunday's divisional tilt against the winless Houston Texans. The 29-year-old has a lower ceiling because of Tennessee's weak offense and the presence of pass-catching back Tyjae Spears.
However, fantasy managers cannot really complain that Pollard has seen at least 14 rushing attempts in each of the last three games after carrying the ball just seven times for 35 yards in the Week 1 loss to the New York Jets. Pollard had 16 attempts for 48 yards and his first touchdown of 2026 in Sunday's loss to the Baltimore Ravens, adding two catches for two yards as a receiver. He should be viewed as more of a touchdown-dependent RB3/flex as the Titans look for their first win of the season.
Tyler Allgeier, Arizona Cardinals
Across four games in 2026, Arizona Cardinals running back Tyler Allgeier has recorded 147 scrimmage yards and a touchdown on 42 touches. After starting Arizona's first two games of the season, Allgeier has given way to Cardinals rookie back Jeremiyah Love (ankle). The third overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, Love clearly profiles as the future of the Arizona backfield. However, Love battled an ankle injury during the preseason, and it was revealed on Monday that he is battling renewed ankle discomfort.
Allgeier has proven he can be productive when given the opportunity, as he rushed for over 1,000 yards as a rookie in 2022. If Love ends up missing time, Allgeier could work his way into must-start territory in a favorable Week 5 matchup against the awful Detroit Lions defense. With Love's health uncertain, fantasy managers may want to target Allgeier on the waiver wire.
Rome Odunze, Chicago Bears
Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze has largely underperformed preseason expectations so far in 2026, recording 14 catches for 233 yards on 20 targets across four games. However, the 24-year-old is coming off his best game of the season in Week 4, hauling in six receptions for 94 yards on seven targets against the New York Jets.
Week 4 was Chicago's first game with backup quarterback Tyson Bagent under center. Bagent is set to make another start in Week 5 against the Green Bay Packers, which could be a good thing for Odunze's production. Bears QB1 Caleb Williams (hamstring) should also be back from his hamstring injury within the next few weeks, which obviously raises the ceiling of Odunze and the rest of the Bears' pass-catchers. As the Bears offense gets healthier, Odunze could re-establish himself as a top-24 wide receiver for fantasy managers.
Cam Skattebo, New York Giants
New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo (shoulder) was no longer wearing a red non-contact jersey at Thursday's practice, according to Art Stapleton. Skattebo wore the jersey Wednesday and was officially listed as limited, so the change is encouraging ahead of Sunday's matchup with Washington. It remains to be seen how much work he actually handled Thursday. The Giants have leaned heavily on Skattebo through four games, giving him at least 18 carries in three contests.
He hasn't done much with that volume, averaging 3.5 yards per carry on 68 attempts, but has remained the clear lead back. Skattebo also has eight receptions for 67 yards this season. His workload has been a big part of his fantasy appeal despite the modest rushing numbers, making his shoulder worth monitoring.
Wan'Dale Robinson, Tennessee Titans
Tennessee Titans wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson should be more popular off the waiver wire this week after finding the end zone for a second straight game in Sunday's 24-18 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4. Robinson was out-snapped by rookie Carnell Tate 54 to 43 in the game and caught only three passes for 19 yards, but he found the end zone for the second straight week after his seven-catch, 57-yard, one-touchdown performance in the Week 3 loss to the New York Giants.
The 25-year-old's touchdown on Sunday came with just over a minute left in regulation. He has not been the target hog that he was the last few years with the Giants, as Robinson has 16 catches on 23 targets for 123 yards and two touchdowns in his first four games with Tennessee. Still, Robinson can be useful as wide receiver depth for fantasy managers, especially if he can continue to develop chemistry with young quarterback Cam Ward. He could be a nice flex play at wideout for the Titans' upcoming matchup this Sunday against the winless Houston Texans.
