Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 3:
Jalen McMillan, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
After missing his team's season opener because of a knee injury, Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Jalen McMillan returned to the field in Week 2. However, the third-year wideout was hardly utilized, playing just seven offensive snaps and failing to earn a single target. McMillan missed most of training camp with the knee issue, and Tampa Bay may simply be working him back in slowly.
Still, the 24-year-old missed nearly the entire 2025 season due to a neck injury, so it's been a while since he was a regular contributor for the Bucs. The Buccaneers also have other options in their wide receiver room. Emeka Egbuka and Chris Godwin Jr. are locked into the WR1 and WR2 roles, and youngsters Ted Hurst III and Tez Johnson have flashed upside as well. At least in the short term, McMillan should remain off the radar of fantasy managers.
Nicholas Singleton, Tennessee Titans
Tennessee Titans rookie running back Nicholas Singleton has touched the ball only four times for 10 yards through the first two games of his career, but head coach Robert Saleh told reporters Friday that he has been good and that "hopefully we'll get him more carries this week."
Both Tony Pollard (ankle) and Tyjae Spears (undisclosed) have missed practice time this week, perhaps giving Singleton the opportunity to feature with the first-team offense. The Titans face the Giants in Week 3, fresh off a game against the Rams in which New York allowed Kyren Williams and Blake Corum to each top 6.5 rushing yards per attempt, with both finishing as top-20 fantasy backs, but with both Pollard and Spears able to return to practice on Friday, it is unlikely that Singleton sees a fantasy-relevant workload. Still, with Saleh praising his effort, the rookie's involvement is worth monitoring.
Mike Washington Jr., Las Vegas Raiders
Las Vegas Raiders running back Mike Washington Jr. remains a worthwhile stash even though his Week 2 role stayed small. Washington carried three times for seven yards and drew one target in Sunday's win over the Chargers after rushing seven times for 41 yards in the opener.
Ashton Jeanty briefly left with an ankle injury but returned and continues to dominate the backfield, leaving Washington with limited standalone value. The rookie is still listed second on the Raiders' unofficial depth chart and has 10 carries for 48 yards through two games.
That makes the appeal fairly straightforward. Washington is not someone fantasy managers need to force into lineups, but he would be positioned for a much larger workload if Jeanty were forced to miss time. RotoBaller recommends adding him in 12-team leagues and deeper. For now, Washington fits best as a bench stash with upside rather than an aggressive waiver claim.
Mack Hollins, New England Patriots
New England Patriots wide receiver Mack Hollins earned the trust of quarterback Drake Maye last season, and that could bode well for his fantasy outlook in Week 3 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Ever since A.J. Brown (ankle) went down in Week 1, Hollins has been operating as the Patriots' de facto No. 2 receiver behind Romeo Doubs.
That hasn't really resulted in meaningful fantasy production yet, but he still has a respectable seven targets this season on a 70% snap share. A matchup against the Jaguars could help him break out as a fantasy streamer; Jacksonville has ranked near league average by allowing the 14th-most receiving yards and the 17th-most fantasy points to wide receivers so far in 2026.
There are a lot of WR3/flex options to consider in deeper leagues for Week 3, and Hollins is certainly one of them. As of now, he's the WR57 in RotoBaller's latest Week 3 fantasy football rankings.
Keaton Mitchell, Los Angeles Chargers
Los Angeles Chargers running back Keaton Mitchell got a little more work Sunday, but not enough to change the bigger picture in the backfield. Mitchell carried five times for 24 yards and caught his only target for 15 yards in the loss to Las Vegas after seeing four carries in Week 1.
Omarion Hampton, meanwhile, handled 23 carries and caught both of his targets, so there is still a wide gap between the starter and everyone else. Kimani Vidal has yet to record an offensive touch through two games, but the Chargers continue to list Mitchell and Vidal together behind Hampton on the depth chart. That makes Mitchell interesting without making him trustworthy yet.
The speed is there, and six touches were at least a small step forward, but fantasy managers need more before putting him anywhere near a lineup. RotoBaller ranks Mitchell 25th among Week 3 waiver options and recommends him in 12-team PPR leagues. For now, he is a stash for managers who can afford to wait on the role.
