Pierceson Coody Still Struggling with Putter and More
Pierceson Coody missed his second straight cut at the Rocket Classic. The American golfer could not string putts together again. This has occurred in three of his previous four events overall (70-72 last week). Around the green was worse for Coody where he lost 1.07 strokes overall in Detroit. Driver accuracy has been another major red flag where Coody was 14% worse than average last week. Oddly enough, Coody has thrived at majors (see the US Open and the Open Championship). Again, the Wyndham Championship is more birdie oriented. Last year's winner was -22. From a DFS perspective, it is probably safer to fade Coody this week.
