Ciryl Gane Finishes Alex Pereira In The Second Round
Ciryl Gane became the new interim heavyweight champion by beating former middleweight and light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira via second-round TKO in the co-main event of UFC Freedom 250 on Sunday. Gane's movement and striking were on point as he kept on switching stances, tagging Pereira with jabs and overhand rights. He rocked Pereira in the second round and methodically pressed the advantage, punishing Pereira with a barrage of punches until the referee decided to stop the fight. In 6:27 of action, Gane landed 54 significant strikes. With the win, Gane became the second fighter ever to capture two interim UFC titles.
