Samuel Basallo, C, Baltimore Orioles
Current Level: MLB
2025 MLB stats: .165/.229/.330, 4 HR
According to Jake Rill of MLB.com, Baltimore Orioles catching prospect Samuel Basallo has lost 15 pounds in the offseason. Basallo is poised to spend the entire 2026 season in the major leagues and appears to have entered camp in great physical shape. Basallo began the 2025 season with the Norfolk Tides and posted a strong .270/.377/.589 slash line with 17 doubles and 23 home runs across a 76-game stint.
He was then promoted to Baltimore in the second half and held a modest .169/.229/.330 line over his first 31 games. During this brief taste, the game's top catching prospect hit four home runs, added six doubles, but carried a 30:6 K:BB. Basallo is expected to split time behind the dish and at DH with Adley Rutschman. With the potential to see an everyday role in the lineup, Basallo is a top breakout pick at the catcher position, given his elite raw power.
Jett Williams, INF, Milwaukee Brewers
Current Level: Triple-A
2025 MiLB stats: 130 G, .261/.363/.465, 17 HR, 34 SB
The Milwaukee Brewers have invited recently acquired infield prospect Jett Williams to big-league spring training. Williams was sent to Milwaukee alongside right-hander Brandon Sproat in the deal that sent right-hander Freddy Peralta to New York. Williams was viewed as the top prospect in the Mets system prior to the trade and now sits as the No. 3 prospect in Milwaukee (on MLB.com), trailing only Jesus Made and Luis Pena. Last season, Williams began the campaign with Double-A, where he posted a strong .281/.390/.477 slash line with 29 doubles, 10 home runs, 32 stolen bases.
He was then promoted to Triple-A Syracuse, where he took a slight step back, carrying a lower .209/.285/.433 line with seven long balls across a 34-game stint. Managers should expect Williams to open the season at Triple-A but should be in contention for an early MLB debut, especially if Joey Ortiz continues to struggle in the batter's box.
Tommy Troy, INF, Arizona Diamondbacks
Current Level: Triple-A
2025 MiLB stats: 125 G, .289/.382/.451, 15 HR, 24 SB
The Arizona Diamondbacks have officially invited infield prospect Tommy Troy to MLB spring training. Troy was a fast riser in the system last season and is now in a great position to compete for a role on the Opening Day roster in 2026. Troy began the 2025 campaign with Double-A Amarillo and held a .286/.382/.461 slash line with 20 doubles, 12 home runs, and 21 stolen bases.

He was then bumped up to Triple-A Reno to close out the campaign, where he continued to perform at a high level. Through 38 games, Troy held a .295/.381/.429 line. He posted an .810 OPS with three home runs and three stolen bases. Currently, Troy figures to compete for a utility role in the infield, serving as a backup option to third baseman Nolan Arenado or shortstop Geraldo Perdomo. He is a name to watch in deeper formats given his five-category upside.
Aidan Miller, SS, Philadelphia Phillies
Current Level: Triple-A
2025 MiLB stats: 116 G, .264/.392/.433, 14 HR, 59 SB
According to Charlotte Varnes of The Athletic, Philadelphia Phillies infield prospect Aidan Miller is not expected to break camp with the MLB roster. While Varnes noted that a 2026 MLB debut remains in play, he will likely not be on the team's Opening Day roster given the team's current infield depth. Miller is considered the team's No. 2-ranked prospect on MLB.com and overall No. 32 prospect in the sport. Miller joined the organization with the 23rd overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft out of J.W. Mitchell HS.
Miller spent the majority of the 2025 season with Double-A before finishing the season with a brief taste at Triple-A. Through 108 games at Double-A, Miller held a .259/.382/.427 line with 13 home runs and 52 stolen bases. During his brief eight-game stint at Triple-A, Miller posted a .333/.514/.519 line. Even though he is not expected to break camp with the MLB roster, he could become a top stash candidate in deeper category formats early in the season, given his five-category skill set.
Travis Sykora, SP, Washington Nationals
Current Level: Double-A
2025 MiLB stats: 45 1/3 IP, 1.79 ERA, 0.77 WHIP, 79 SO, 17 BB
Washington Nationals right-handed pitching prospect Travis Sykora (elbow) was invited to spring training. However, given that he underwent UCL reconstruction surgery last season, the right-hander is not expected to take the mound at all in 2026. Mark Zuckerman of MASN Sports reported that the budding ace will continue his rehab process with the major league roster during camp. Sykora made his professional debut with Low-A in 2024 and immediately flashed upside, striking out 129 hitters in just 85 innings.
In 2025, Sykora continued to ascend in the Washington system, finishing the season in Double-A. Across 45 1/3 innings spent primarily with High-A, Sykora would post an outstanding 1.79 ERA, 0.77 WHIP, and a 79:17 K:BB. While he is expected to be sidelined for the entirety of the 2026 season, he is a prime buy-low target in dynasty leagues, as he was on track to make his MLB debut this season.
Max Clark, OF, Detroit Tigers
Current Level: Double-A
2025 MiLB stats: 111 G, .271/.403/.432, 14 HR, 19 SB
The Detroit Tigers invited outfield prospect Max Clark to major-league spring training this year, according to the Detroit Free Press' Evan Petzold. Clark, who is considered the No. 10 overall prospect in baseball this year, hit a combined .271/.403/.432 with an .835 OPS, 14 home runs, 67 RBI, 85 runs scored, and 19 stolen bases in 111 games with High-A West Michigan and Double-A Erie last year. The left-handed-hitting former third overall pick in 2023 has plus tools with his bat, legs, arm, and glove.

— Tigers ML Report (@tigersMLreport) July 9, 2025
Power from the left side might be his biggest weakness, but he figures to develop more of it as his 6-foot, 205-pound frame matures. Clark had a 135 wRC+ AND 16.7% strikeout rate at Double-A, so he figures to open the 2026 season at Triple-A Toledo. If Clark picks up where he left off in the minors in 2026, it may not be long before he's starting in center field in Motown at the major-league level.
