Jock Landale Moving From Memphis to Utah
Memphis Grizzlies center Jock Landale will soon be a member of the Utah Jazz, according to ESPN's Shams Charania. The 30-year-old is part of the trade that will send Jaren Jackson Jr., John Konchar, and Vince Williams Jr. to Utah for Walter Clayton Jr., Kyle Anderson, Taylor Hendricks, Georges Niang, and three first-round picks. Landale goes from being a frequent starter in Memphis to an extremely crowded frontcourt in Utah. He'll compete with Jackson, Lauri Markkanen, Jusuf Nurkic, and Kyle Filipowski for minutes, with veteran Kevin Love also in the mix. There's potential for Utah to make another trade to clear up frontcourt minutes, but if that doesn't happen, Landale's fantasy basketball stock takes a big hit. He was previously averaging a career-best 11.3 points and 6.5 rebounds in Memphis.
