Cleveland Browns rookie running back Dylan Sampson (hand) logged limited practices all week and has a questionable tag leading up to the Week 17 tilt against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Head coach Kevin Stefaniski commented on Sampson's progression this week, noting that Sampson, "feels good and looked good in practice, but we'll make a determination here as we get to Sunday." The rookie running back has not played since Week 14 after dealing with calf and hand injuries. With rookie running back Quinshon Judkins (ankle, leg) out for the season, Sampson is positioned to reassume a prominent role in the Browns' backfield against a tough Steelers run defense. In Week 1, before Judkins' debut the following week, Sampson turned his 12 rush attempts into just 29 yards, but hauled in all eight of his targets for 64 yards. Sampson is likely to share the backfield with fellow rookie running back Raheim Sanders, who led the Browns in rushing attempts after Judkins went down with his injury in Week 16 while Sampson was out. If Sampson suits up in Week 17, we expect him to re-take his passing-down and change-of-pace role, warranting fringe RB2/Flex consideration, mainly in PPR formats.--Matt McCauley
