Tyler Lockett Cleared, Difficult to Trust for the Fantasy Playoffs
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Tyler Lockett (knee) was a full participant in two practices this week and does not carry an injury designation heading into the team's Week 16 matchup against the Houston Texans. The veteran receiver saw a season-high 76% snap share last week, catching two of his four targets for 10 yards in the Raiders' blowout loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 15. Since joining the team and re-connecting with veteran quarterback Geno Smith (back, shoulder) in Week 9, Lockett is averaging three receptions for 29 yards per game, giving him some PPR value, but he has yet to see the end zone this season. Although Smith seems to look to Lockett as a trustworthy safety valve, rekindling their years-long connection with the Seattle Seahawks, he is far from reliable for fantasy managers. Going against the Texans with the sturdiest pass defense in the league in Week 16, Lockett is a low-end WR4/Flex in deep leagues, at best.
