Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks

Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 15:

TreVeyon Henderson, RB, New England Patriots

New England Patriots rookie running back out of Ohio State, TreVeyon Henderson, has been seeing his workload decrease since the return of Rhamondre Stevenson from injury. However, he is earning significantly more work than he was earlier in the year, when Stevenson was playing a majority of the snaps in the first eight weeks of the season. The backfield has appeared to turn into a true running back by committee, with both playing roughly 50 percent of the snaps in Week 13 (Stevenson 58% and Henderson 49%).

Regardless, they play the Buffalo Bills in Week 15, who allow the sixth most points to the running back position in fantasy, and Henderson should be expected to see 10-15 total touches, making him a strong RB2 play for the week. On the season, Henderson has 625 rushing yards (4.84 YPC), 199 receiving yards on 38 targets (32 receptions), and six total touchdowns (five on the ground and one through the air).

He has been very explosive when given the opportunity, and when you combine the explosiveness with the good matchup, that makes him a solid play in Week 15.

Chimere Dike, WR, Tennessee Titans

Tennessee Titans rookie wide receiver Chimere Dike's yardage total in last Sunday's 31-29 victory over the Cleveland Browns may not have been what fantasy managers expected. Still, he should be on fantasy managers' radars considering his role in the offense. Dike and the Titans' air attack struggled through poor weather in Week 14, as he posted just 24 yards on 5-of-8 receiving against a tough Cleveland defense.

However, the former fourth-round pick was the only Tennessee pass-catcher to eclipse four targets and two receptions on the afternoon. Moreover, he punched in his third receiving score of the campaign, and fifth total TD since Week 7. Dike's ceiling might be capped in a volatile Titans' passing game, but he's been the most consistent option of that bunch by far, and has a fine floor as a low-end asset in PPR leagues.

Jaylen Waddle, WR, Miami Dolphins

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle secured five of his team-high seven targets to lead the team in receiving yards with 50 and also scored the only receiving touchdown of the day for Miami in the team's 34-10 triumph in New York. Waddle has six scores this season, and he continues to operate as the team's clear No. 1 receiver with Tyreek Hill (knee) out for the year.

Waddle is up to 812 yards with four games remaining, so if he stays healthy, he has a good shot to get to 1,000 yards for the fourth time in his five NFL seasons. He'll be a solid play going forward, even though the Dolphins are a low-volume, low-risk pass offense at this point. He prjetces ot be a solid WR2 in all formats facing the Steelers in Week 15.

Tyjae Spears, RB, Tennessee Titans

Tennessee Titans running back Tyjae Spears was overshadowed by Tony Pollard in Sunday's 31-29 victory over the hosting Cleveland Browns in Week 14. Pollard had 25 carries for a whopping 161 yards and two touchdowns as he shredded Cleveland's defense on a snowy afternoon in Ohio. Still, Spears managed to touch the ball 12 times (eight carries, two receptions) and led the team with 28 receiving yards.

The 24-year-old averaged just 2.4 yards on the ground and ran for 19 yards. Spears' eight carries and 12 total touches were the most he's seen since Oct. 26 against the Indianapolis Colts. It was a rare day for the Titans' offense where they could afford to give both Pollard and Spears plenty of work. That might not be the case in Week 15 against the San Francisco 49ers, but Spears' continued involvement as Tennessee's pass-catching back gives him some deep-league flex value in PPR fantasy leagues.

Nico Collins, WR, Houston Texans

Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins posted four receptions for 121 yards on eight targets during Sunday night's 20-10 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Even in a tough matchup, Collins continued his strong stretch of production in recent weeks, clearing 100 yards for the third time this season. The star wideout has gone over 90 receiving yards in four of the past five games after a somewhat slow start to the season.

The 26-year-old is the clear alpha of the Texans' passing attack and remains a top-10 wide receiver in fantasy football. Collins will profile as a high-end option again in Week 15 against an Arizona Cardinals defense that just allowed Rams wideout Puka Nacua to rack up 167 yards and two touchdowns in Week 14.
