High-Upside Waiver Wire Bench Stashes

Sean Tucker, RB - TB
5% Rostered
Sean Tucker opened the season as Tampa Bay's No. 3 RB but moved up to the backup role when Bucky Irving (foot) suffered an injury. While Rachaad White has primarily dominated the lead role for the time being, Tucker has recently seen his role increase. In their Week 8 victory over the Saints, Tucker took a season-high 12 carries for 42 yards and a score.
This was his second rushing score in just his past three games. During this three-game stretch, White has struggled to find much consistency on the ground, averaging just 3.5 YPC. Given Tucker's elite efficiency and recent surge in production, he could operate as the RB1 in this backfield if Irving's injury were to linger, after their Week 9 bye.
Last season, Tucker flashed immense side-to-side when given the opportunity, averaging a stellar 6.2 YPC. He is a solid RB to stash in deep leagues this week.

Jaydon Blue, RB - DAL
10% Rostered
The other running back to stash may be the priority No. 2 RB to stash in fantasy football. Currently, Jaydon Blue is the second RB on the Dallas depth chart and could see an increase in workload if Javonte Williams were to miss time. In each of his last two games, Blue has seen just 7.5 attempts per game and logged only 20% of the snaps.
Through eight weeks, Williams has produced as an RB1, averaging 18.8 PPR points per game with nine total touchdowns and 79.1 rushing yards per game. Given William's previous injury history, Blue could become a league-winner if he were to see time in the starter's role.
Managers with a solid record should consider targeting Blue as a high upside lottery ticket.
Tory Horton, WR - SEA
10% Rostered
The rookie wideout has flashed at times and is moving out of his bye week, which is typically the turning point for a first-year pass catcher. Throughout his first seven games in Seattle, Horton has eclipsed 100 PPR points in three of them. However, in the other four, Horton has caught just one total pass, on six targets.
Despite his underwhelming and inconsistent play at times, Horton could be in the mix to take over the No. 2 WR role. Currently, Cooper Kupp has slotted in as the team's No. 2 WR but has struggled to produce weekly, averaging only 3.4 receptions per game.
Given Horton's upside as a deep threat, he is a priority stash ahead of Week 9 in three-WR formats.

Isaiah Likely, TE - BAL
5% Rostered
There may be a changing of the guard at the TE position in Baltimore. Despite having a slower start to the season due to a foot injury, Likely is nearly matching Mark Andrews' productivity and is slowly taking over the lead job. While Likely has only caught five passes over the last three games, during this stretch, the young tight end has seen a higher snap share to Andrews in all but one.
With Lamar Jackson's (hamstring) slate to return to the corner on Thursday, this offense could finally turn the corner after being held back by subpar backup QB play. With Likely's increasing role, he could finally break out with Jackson under center. While Andrews still figures to play a role in the red zone, Likely could become a low-end TE1 in the coming weeks.
Given that Andrews has seen his production drop significantly and is nearing the end of his career, Likely is a must-stash for those looking for an upside late-season tight end.
