Koby's top NFL DFS lineup picks for DraftKings, FanDuel -- Packers vs. Steelers SNF slate for Week 8 Sunday Night Football (Oct. 26, 2025). His NFL daily fantasy sleeper picks.
Welcome back, RotoBallers! Last Sunday was such a weird game. If you didn't have CMC, your lineups didn't cash. It was a relatively boring game and low scoring. The complete absence of George Kittle really hurt my lineups as well. Hopefully, we can bounce back here as Aaron Rodgers faces off against his former team.
We get a great matchup for us on Sunday Night Football this week! The Green Bay Packers (4-1-1) travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers (4-2). The Packers came back and beat the Cardinals last week and look to continue that momentum here against a Steelers team they haven't beaten in Pittsburgh since 1970!
I will provide you with daily fantasy football picks on DraftKings and FanDuel for Sunday Night Football in Week 8 -- Packers vs. Steelers on October 26, 2025. These NFL DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks.

MVP/Captain - NFL DFS Lineup Picks
Josh Jacobs - WR, $16.5K (DK), $21.9K (FD)
Josh Jacobs has been an absolute machine across the last three weeks. He has two touchdowns in each of the last three games, and when it comes to the red zone, he sees nearly every touch at 80% of all red zone rushes. The Packers lean slightly more towards the run in the red zone this season at a 55.6% rate. He has scored double-digit fantasy games in all six games this season.

His activeness in the receiving game has varied week-to-week, seeing upwards of nine targets in a game, but he also hasn't seen much competition in the backfield. Jacobs is a workhorse and should be highly considered as the top player on the slate, as clearly shown by his price. He should be heavily owned on this slate, but I'll be right up there with them.
Aaron Rodgers - QB, $14.7K (DK), $17.4K (FD)
If you are looking for a pivot, Rodgers makes for a good option. He is coming off one of his best games as a Steeler, and although he came up short. He did finish with four touchdowns and 250 yards. This should be looked at as a bit of a revenge game. The Packers have given up the fifth-most receiving touchdowns overall this year. Rodgers getting his WR2 back is big for him as well, as he will have another option to throw to.
He focused last game quite a bit on the TEs, and having three solid TEs is a rare sight. Depending on how the Packers look in this one, the Steelers could be playing from behind, meaning Rodgers could be throwing the ball quite a bit. He has thrown the ball 30+ times in four of his six games this season. If he keeps the turnovers to a minimum, Rodgers could be a critical piece in your lineups at quite a bit cheaper compared to Jacobs.
Other Captains/MVPs: DK Metcalf, Jordan Love, Tucker Kraft

Flex Plays - NFL DFS Lineup Picks
Tucker Kraft - TE, $8.4K (DK), $10K (FD)
Tucker Kraft is coming off a great game last week in Arizona. He is going to get a great matchup once again. The Steelers have given up the fourth-most touchdowns to opposing TEs and the fifth-most receiving yards this season. So far this season, he has averaged a 19.5% reception share, which is good for the second-highest on the team.

With it being National TEs day, a lot of people are going to be on Kraft. So if you want to get different, then fade him, but in cash games, I would definitely roster Kraft. This season, he has also seen the highest target share on the team in the red zone at 30.8%. All things are lining up for a big game for Kraft.
Romeo Doubs - WR, $7.6K (DK), $8.6K (FD)
Christian Watson is back. FanDuel decided not to put him in the roster options, which I thought was odd, but that's besides the point. Watson is coming off an ACL tear that he had just at the end of last season. I expect him to be limited in some capacity, so Doubs should continue his role as WR1. Matthew Golden is also questionable, leaving Doubs as the only fully healthy WR.
Doubs should be lined up here against Darius Slay for the most part, but could see a bit of Jalen Ramsay as well. Slay has given up .30 fantasy points per route run this season. The Steelers give up the most receiving yards to WRs this season. This is just a home run spot for Doubs, and if he can get in the red zone, where he sees a 27% target share. It could end up being an even bigger day for him.
Other Flex Options: Jaylen Warren, Pat Freiermuth
Value Plays - NFL DFS Lineup Picks
Jonnu Smith- TE, $4.2K (DK), $5.4K (FD)
It's National Tight End Day, and we have a team that has three competent tight ends. So good luck in picking the right one. Last week, Pat Freiermuth was that guy who went for 111 yards and two touchdowns. Both of the other guys had a touchdown as well. I give the edge here to Jonnu Smith based on price and the slight edge in snap share. Smith, I think, is worth a bit more at his price, now that Freiermuth has seen his price jump quite a bit after last week's performance.
Overall, this is a good spot for the TEs as the Packers give up the third-most touchdowns to opposing TEs, as well as 10th in receiving yards. I would still get a piece of both Smith and Freiermuth to make sure your ownership on both sides. I think for now, you can fade Darnell Washington, as he has only produced when he has been targeted in the endzone.
Calvin Austin III- WR, $5.8K (DK), $4.8K (FD)
Calvin Austin III is back in the lineup after a lengthy absence and should immediately return to that WR2 role that he was in early in the season. He is really affordable, especially on FanDuel. In the first three weeks of the season, Austin saw a 70% or better snap share.
He has a bit of a tough matchup going against Javon Bullard in the slot, but he is still giving up .21 fantasy points per route run this season. Austin has the second-highest target share on the team and should get right back to it at a very cheap price.
Other Value Options: Chris Boswell, Lucas Havrisik (if Brandon McManus doesn't play)
Sample NFL DFS Lineup
Here is a lineup option I like for Sunday morning's slate on FanDuel. Note that sample lineups are not intended to be used in contests by readers, but instead to show the type of roster construction that I am considering when building my lineups.
