NFL DFS Lineup Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings - Eagles vs. Giants Thursday Night Showdown

Jaxson Dart - Fantasy Football Rankings, Rookie QB Sleepers

Koby's top NFL DFS lineup picks for DraftKings, FanDuel -- Eagles vs. Giants TNF slate for Week 6 Thursday Night Football (Oct. 9, 2025). His NFL daily fantasy sleeper picks.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! Similar to last Thursday, we have a team with significant injury issues. The 49ers last week were able to overcome that. Can the Giants do the same against the Eagles here? I don't think so, but there is still money to be made on this slate, so let's dive in.

The best part of the NFL schedule is that we have only two days off between Monday Night Football and Thursday Night Football, so we are back at it tonight as the Philadelphia Eagles travel to MetLife Stadium to take on the New York Giants. Both teams are coming off brutal losses; let's see who can bounce back from that on a short week.

I will provide you with daily fantasy football picks on DraftKings and FanDuel for Thursday Night Football in Week 6 -- Eagles vs. Giants on October 9th, 2025. These NFL DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks. MVP/Captain - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Jalen Hurts- QB, $16.5K (DK), $20.4K (FD)

Jalen Hurts is a fantasy football cheat code. With 19+ fantasy points in four of his five games this season, Hurts' ability to use his legs as well as his arm to get the job done is massive. The Giants' defense has given up the 11th-most rushing yards to QBs this season, as well as the ninth-most passing yards.

Hurts has plenty of guys to spread the ball around to, and as long as Saquon Barkley doesn't become the main guy in the red zone, that should leave Hurts being the guy getting all the fantasy points.

Jaxson Dart - QB, $15.3K (DK), $18.3K (FD)

The double QB route is likely the way to go on this slate. Whether you target Hurts or Jaxson Dart at the MVP spot should be based on how the rest of your lineup looks. Dart gives you a bit more salary relief elsewhere and has had similar output in his first two games as the starter for New York.

Dart has been solid in his rookie year so far. He had a couple of mishaps in their loss to New Orleans, but he is young and has plenty of time to make changes to his approach. Like Hurts, Dart has been able to move the ball with his feet as well, averaging 54.5 rushing yards in his first two games. Dart is down two of his WRs, so I anticipate him using his legs more.

Other Captains/MVPs: Saquon Barkley, DeVonta Smith

Flex Plays - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Wan'Dale Robinson - WR, $7.2K (DK), $8.4K (FD)

Wan'Dale Robinson is in line for a big role. Darius Slayton was ruled out alongside Malik Nabers, who is out for the season. Outside of Robinson, he doesn't have much competition for targets. Theo Johnson should also see an increase, but I don't see the likes of Jalin Hyatt and Beaux Collins taking many targets away from Robinson.

Robinson should see more than the already seven targets he saw in Week 5. Robinson should see as many targets as he can handle in this one.

DeVonta Smith- WR, $9.6K (DK), $9.6K (FD)

DeVonta Smith has had a bit of an up-and-down season so far. The Eagles' offense just hasn't made the receivers a priority in the offense. Last week was an explosion for Smith as he caught eight of his 10 targets for 114 yards.

The Giants' defense has given up the third most fantasy points to opposing WRs. Only the Cowboys and Ravens have given up more this season. He should find himself lined up against Andru Phillips in the slot. Phillips gives up .28 fantasy points per route run this season.  Smith should be in line for a big game here against the Giants.

Other Flex Options: Cam Skattebo, A.J. Brown, Dallas Goedert

Value Plays - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Theo Johnson- TE, $5.8K (DK), $5.2K (FD)

Dart has found his guy, and Johnson has become his guy in the red zone specifically. He has three touchdowns in his first two games with Dart at QB. This season, Johnson has seen a 36.4% red zone target share. Last week was his best week, when he caught six of his seven targets.

Dart is starting to get more and more comfortable in the offense, and with a guy like Johnson to bail him out in checkdown situations. He should continue to see a solid target share. For his price, we are getting some great value. If this game gets out of hand early, Dart should be throwing the ball often to try to make up ground.

Philadelphia Eagles D/ST, $5.4K (DK), $7.2K (FD)

I would only play this if you are going to full-stack the Eagles with a Giants one-off. With a rookie QB up, anything can happen. Last week, Dart had two interceptions. This Eagles defense has been potent as well. They have two TDs on the year and three interceptions to go with seven sacks.

The Giants will have two WRs who haven't had a lot of reps, which could lead to some mishaps in the offense. Eagles' defense could be a solid way to get different on this slate.

Other Value Options: Beaux Collins, Jake Elliott, Jahan Dotson

Sample NFL DFS Lineup

Here is a lineup option I like for tonight's slate on FanDuel. Note that sample lineups are not intended to be used in contests by readers, but instead to show the type of roster construction that I am considering when building my lineups tonight.
