Tyler Reddick Possibly Distracted by Contract Costs
Tyler Reddick feels like he's been going through the motions lately, as his teammate Bubba Wallace has seemed faster most weeks, and one wonders if he is distracted by 23XI Racing's lawsuit against NASCAR after it was revealed he might leave the team if it does not have a charter for 2026. He qualified fourth to open the Round of 12 at Loudon, just as he did at Darlington before contending for that win, but he only ranked 18th in practice, considering both fastest lap and average speed. He's also typically seemed faster in qualifying than in the race this year. He has shown the speed to dominate races, but that's faded a bit lately, and he's never finished better than sixth here. You're better off starting Wallace since he has been typically outrunning Reddick the past couple of months and is also starting worse.
