NFL DFS Lineup Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings - Chiefs vs. Giants Sunday Night Showdown

Malik Nabers - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL DFS Picks

Koby's top NFL DFS lineup picks for DraftKings, FanDuel -- Chiefs vs. Giants SNF slate for Week 3 Sunday Night Football (Sept. 21, 2025). His NFL daily fantasy sleeper picks.

Thanks to today's advanced analytics, I'll do my best to provide you with as much in-depth analysis as possible regarding positional matchups and the like to help put some lunch money in your pocket. Let's make some coin this season, gang, and get right to it.

I will provide you with daily fantasy football picks on DraftKings and FanDuel for Sunday Night Football in Week 3 -- Chiefs vs. Giants on September 21, 2025. These NFL DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks. MVP/Captain - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Malik Nabers - WR, $16.5K (DK), $20.4K (FD)

Malik Nabers might be my biggest regret this season in fantasy. I don't have a single share of him. Whether I was too early or too late, it looks like he may be in line for a WR1-type of season. He is coming off an immaculate game against the Cowboys, where he finished with 36 fantasy points! He has been targeted 12+ times in each of the first two games of the season. He has a ridiculous reception share of nearly 35% this season.

The Chiefs defense ranks eighth-worst against opposing WRs so far this season. He is likely going to line up against Trent McDuffie for the most part, who is giving up .26 fantasy points per route run this season. Nabers is the clear-cut top option on this slate. Don't overthink it. He will get as many targets as Russell Wilson can give him.

Patrick Mahomes - QB, $15.6K (DK), $19.5K (FD)

Patrick Mahomes has been about the only one consistent enough to do anything for the Chiefs this season. He has had 23 and 26 fantasy points so far, and now gets a Giants team that gives up the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing QBs. Mahomes has been able to rush one into the end zone in both games, so seeing that he has been able to use his feet a lot more is great for his fantasy stock.

We haven't seen another Chiefs player this season finish with more than 15 fantasy points. Getting Mahomes in your lineup is going to be crucial if he continues to be the highest-scoring player for the Chiefs each week. Whether he's in your MVP spot or not, Mahomes is a must-have.

Other Captains/MVPs: Marquise Brown, Russell Wilson

Flex Plays - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Isiah Pacheco - RB, $7K (DK), $6.8K (FD)

Now, I know what you are thinking: Why would I want to play Pacheco after he has had two weeks in a row that ended in duds? Well, the Giants have been getting tormented by running backs so far this season. They have given up the most fantasy points to opposing RBs this season. Javonte Williams and Jacory Croskey-Merritt both had their way with this run defense, and this is the perfect buy-low spot for Pacheco.

Given how poorly he is playing, we can expect his ownership to be lower compared to his receiving counterparts. There is a chance Kareem Hunt steals some carries, but if we can get a few red-zone touches that result in a touchdown, that would be huge at his price.

Cam Skattebo - RB, $6.4K (DK), $7.2K (FD)

Is it already that time of the year when Skattebo takes over as the lead back for the Giants? In Week 1, we saw Tyrone Tracy Jr. take the majority of the carries, but Week 2 told a different story. Skattebo saw an average YPC of 4.0, which came on 11 carries. Tracy only saw five carries in Week 2. Skattebo was active in the passing game as well, getting three targets and catching two of them for 14 yards.

I would definitely get a little bit of both running backs for now in case the Giants decide to switch back and forth. But I do give the edge to Skattebo, who is already showing some solid promise for the Giants' run game.

Other Flex Options: Wan'Dale Robinson, Travis Kelce

Value Plays - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Tyquan Thornton - WR, $4.4K (DK), $5K (FD)

We have seen Tyquan Thornton's stock rise. With Xavier Worthy and Rashee Rice out, Thornton will continue to be in line for a bigger role. He should be seen as the WR2, as he is much better than JuJu Smith-Schuster. Thornton was targeted five times in the Week 2 loss against the Eagles. He was able to bring in two of those, including one for a touchdown. He saw a 75% snap share in Week 2, and he should continue to be a big part of this offense as long as it is down a couple of guys.

He likely lines up against Paulson Adebo for the Giants, who has given up .34 fantasy points per route run this season. Thornton has lined up on the left side the most so far, so he should see his fair share of Adebo on that side.

Graham Gano - K, $4.8K (DK), $5.4K (FD)

Last season, the Chiefs had a 54% conversion rate in the red zone, resulting in a score. With only two games, there isn't a lot of data to go off this season. However, Graham Gano has looked great to start the season, with five made field goals. The Giants have scored a TD the second fewest of any team this season in the red zone. This leaves Gano with plenty of opportunity to make things happen in the kicking game.

Gano has struggled to stay healthy in recent seasons, having not played a full season since 2022. He has a career field-goal percentage of 84%. He has the leg to make a 50+ yarder, too, with 6-of-7 makes in his last three seasons. If the Chiefs defense stays strong in the red zone, Gano may get quite a few chances to boost his field-goal percentage.

Other Value Options: Theo Johnson, Darius Slayton, JuJu Smith-Schuster

Sample NFL DFS Lineup

Here is a lineup option I like for tonight's slate on FanDuel. Note that sample lineups are not intended to be used in contests by readers, but instead to show the type of roster construction that I am considering when building my lineups tonight.
