MLB DFS Picks Today: Daily Fantasy Baseball Strategy and Tips For FanDuel, DraftKings (7/23/25)

Jose Ramirez - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, MLB Injury News

Koby's top DraftKings and FanDuel MLB DFS picks for today, Wednesday, 7/23/25. His favorite daily fantasy baseball lineup sleepers and value picks for DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Welcome Back, RotoBallers! We have a small slate for us on tap tonight. It's just a five-game set, as most games are played in the morning and spread throughout the day. We do have a couple of aces on the mound in Jesus Luzardo and Max Fried, but I'll be diving into a couple of other pitchers that could help you win some GPPs!

Looking like some great weather on this slate as well, so we shouldn't have any worries about rain delays or postponements! Leaving all five games open on this small slate. With the smaller slates, we have to get more creative in the GPPs. So don't be afraid to mix things up with your lineups, as you want to differentiate yourself from the competition.

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 7/23/2025, with the slate starting at 6:40 PM EST. The lineup picks will showcase elite players, mid-priced options, and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is always essential.

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Taj Bradley, TBR vs. CWS ($7K DK/$9K FD)

I believe we are getting incredible value on Taj Bradley here on DK. He is the fourth-cheapest pitcher but has one of the best matchups on the slate against the White Sox. The only disadvantage here is that they are playing in the minor league park at Steinbrenner Field. The White Sox have a below-average wRC+ at 88 this month and the fifth-worst wOBA in the league at .296 against RHP.

Bradley has been up and down this season, but he has had solid outings in four of his last five games, three of which resulted in quality starts. He is pushing a 20.7% K% this season with a 10% SwStr% to go with it. The White Sox have been mediocre, and I've seen Bradley do well against better opponents. This should be a good outing for him here as well.

JP Sears, ATH at TEX ($6.3K DK/$7.6K FD)

JP Sears may be the second-to-last guy on the pitchers' options today, but he does get a great matchup against the Rangers, who have struggled against LHP this month. The Rangers have the third-highest K% to lefties at 28.9% and the sixth-lowest wRC+ at 68. He has had solid success against them in two matchups this season, where he finished with 30 and 41 fantasy points.

I'm not expecting Ace potential out of Sears, but I think with the matchup, he has it is worth the price. He provides us with extra salary to put towards some bigger bats throughout our lineups. I won't be rostering him in cash games, but he does make a solid case for your GPP lineups.

Others To Consider:

  • Max Fried, NYY at TOR ($9.8K DK/$9.6K FD)
  • Slade Cecconi, CLE vs. BAL ($7.5K DK/$8.5K FD)

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Nick Kurtz, 1B - ATH ($4.8K DK/$3.7K FD)

I don't normally like taking the left-on-left matchup, but this is an exception. Kurtz has been on a tear recently. Just as an overall hitter, he has 15 hits in his last nine games. This month, against left-handed hitters, he has four hits, and three of them are home runs against LHP in only 14 ABs. He also has double-digit fantasy points in eight of his last nine games.

Kurtz has just been unreal, and if he can keep it up against the LHP. Then Kurtz should be sitting pretty. I believe the A's get Patrick Corbin out of the game pretty early, so even if Kurtz isn't hitting early, he could do well against the Rangers' bullpen.

Jose Ramirez, 3B - CLE ($6K DK/$4K FD)

Jose Ramirez is my top spend-up option on the slate. He is going up against Zach Eflin, who is coming off a rehab assignment where he likely will be limited in this one, too. If that is the case, then they will be up against the bullpen that ranks sixth-worst in the league.

Ramirez has been lighting it up recently with three home runs in his last four games and double-digit fantasy scoring in 10 of his last 12 games. He has 16 of his 20 homers batting as a lefty, and he could make it 17 with a home run in this one against the homer-prone righty in Eflin.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Cody Bellinger, OF/1B(FD) - NYY ($5.3K DK/$3.5K FD)

Cody Bellinger is mashing the ball right now. He just hit his 18th home run of the season and ended up with two doubles to go along with it. He hit for a single in his last matchup against Chris Bassitt earlier in the month.

He has been on a tear through the league with only two games this month without at least a hit. He has five home runs in his last seven games, and with going against another righty on the mound, I'll be locking in Bellinger as one of my first options.

Max Kepler, OF - PHI ($3.4K DK/$2.7K FD)

This is purely a BvP play. Kepler has dominated Giolito over the years. He has 12 hits on him, with three of those being for home runs. He has plenty of experience against him, and I like that in a guy. I wouldn't stack too many Phillies against Giolito as he has been a solid pitcher this year, but I can't overlook someone like Kepler in this situation. I love him as a one-off in a lineup, especially at his price; he makes for a great addition to some GPP lineups.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks

1. Athletics vs. Patrick Corbin (TEX)

Corbin has been serviceable this season, but this is a good spot to go against him. The Athletics have been very good against LHP this month, showing out with the third-best wRC+ at 145! RHH has hit him well this season with a slash line of .277/.330/.428, and he has given up 14 home runs on the season overall.

They aren't playing in Sacramento, but they do get the benefit of the heat in Texas, where it is supposed to be 95 degrees tomorrow. Corbin is due for regression, and I think the Athletics are ready to take him on.

Favorite Combo: Wilson, Rooker, Langeliers, Kurtz

2. Yankees vs. Chris Bassitt (TOR)

Bassitt has been very good for the Blue Jays. But is he ready for the Yankees, who hold the fourth-best wRC+ at 129 against RHP? The lefties in the lineup have a chance to feast on him. Bassitt gave up eight hits and three walks to go with three runs in their matchup against the Yankees at the beginning of the month. He was able to strike out nine of them, but since then, the Yankees have struck out quite a bit less.

The Yankees look much better, and with how lefty-heavy this lineup is, I'll take a shot on the Yankees stack to take advantage of Bassitt.

Favorite Combo: Bellinger, Judge, Grisham, Dominguez, Rice

Also consider: Rays vs. Jonathan Cannon, Guardians vs. Zach Eflin
