Houston Texans running back Nick Chubb signed a one-year, $2.5 million contract with the Texans this offseason. Chubb's production in 2025 will be heavily dependent on the progress of his recovery from his most recent injuries. A nasty knee injury that tore his ACL ended his 2023 season prematurely. He returned in Week 7 in 2025 to play, but broke his foot in Week 15, ending his comeback season early. He struggled down the stretch, rushing for 332 yards on 102 attempts and three touchdowns while averaging 3.3 yards per carry. The 29-year-old will have a key role right off the bat, as Joe Mixon (foot, toe) was placed on the  Reserve/Non-Football Injury list and will miss Houston's first four games. He will compete with Woody Marks and Dameon Pearce for carries while Mixon is sidelined. Chubb is currently RB49 in the latest RotoBaller rankings and will have a key role early on in Houston's ground game, making him a value pick at his Yahoo ADP of 150.--John Johnson
