ANALYSIS: Prior to their contest against the Tampa Bay Rays on Monday evening, the Boston Red Sox promoted their top prospect (and the top prospect in baseball), outfielder Roman Anthony. In a corresponding move, the Red Sox placed outfielder Wilyer Abreu (oblique) on the 10-day injured list.

Anthony has been performing at an elite level at Triple-A and has been knocking on the MLB door for several weeks. Through 58 games at Triple-A Worcester this season, Anthony has posted a stellar .288/.423/.491 slash line with nine doubles, 10 home runs, and a 56:51 K:BB.

He launched three of those home runs over his final 11 games at Triple-A before earning the call.

In his MLB debut, the 21-year-old got the starting nod in right field and went 0-for-4 with an RBI. Fantasy managers should expect him to have an everyday role in the right field with Abreu on the IL.

Given his elite power upside and strong eye at the plate, he should be viewed as a must-add in all formats.
