When is Brady House getting called up? Will House get promoted in June 2025? Read about this top fantasy baseball prospect outlook heading into Week 10.
The Washington Nationals used the 11th overall pick in the 2021 draft on infielder Brady House. Four years later, House hasn't made his major league debut. However, House remains one of the organization's top prospects and could force his way to Washington sometime this summer.
House, MLB Pipeline's 94th-ranked prospect and sixth-best third baseman, has spent the 2025 season with Triple-A Rochester. He has shown encouraging signs with the Red Wings after struggling at the minors' highest level last season.
So, when are the Nationals going to call up House? Can we expect him to make his debut in June? Let's dive in and find out.
Brady House Prospect Update for Fantasy Baseball
House put up quality numbers in Single-A and Double-A from 2021-24, but his production took sizable steps backward when the Nationals promoted him to Rochester last year. He hit an uninspiring .250/.280/.375 with six home runs, a 28.8% strikeout rate, and a 3.0% walk rate in 236 plate appearances.
House's stint in Rochester this season has gone far better. The 6-foot-4, 208-pounder is slashing .290/.346/.511 with 11 homers over 243 trips to the plate. He has been particularly hot of late.

House, who turned 22 on Wednesday, has helped his cause by chasing fewer pitches out of the strike zone. His swing rate on balls has plummeted from 39.9% to 31.7%. As a result, his walk rate (7.8%) has gone way up, while his strikeouts (25.9%) have fallen to a more palatable number.
Brady House Outlook for Fantasy Baseball
Along with the growth House has shown this season, it helps that the Nationals don't have a standout blocking his path to the majors. The club has mostly used Jose Tena at the hot corner this year.
To Tena's credit, he has significantly upped his production since the beginning of May. He now owns a roughly league-average .258/.328/.392 line in 134 plate appearances. However, the 24-year-old still hasn't homered this season. The Nationals rank 20th in HRs as of this writing. House could help them improve in that regard.

General manager Mike Rizzo, who will have to decide when to promote House, has high hopes for the prospect. Rizzo told The Sports Junkies earlier this week that House is "doing everything he needs to do to get to the big leagues." He added that House will be "a big part of what we're trying to achieve here."
It does seem that Rizzo will summon House to D.C. sooner rather than later. If he comes up this year, House's power could make him a useful addition for fantasy managers needing a boost at third base.
