UFL DFS Lineup Picks: DraftKings Daily Fantasy Advice for Week 9

UFL DFS PICKS, FANTASY FOOTBALL, DRAFTKINGS, FANDUEL

The top daily fantasy UFL lineup picks for DraftKings for Week 9 (2025). Kyle Ringstad provides UFL DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

Welcome to Week 9 of the UFL season, RotoBallers! The playoff race is over, with Michigan, Birmingham, D.C., and St. Louis clinching berths while Houston, Memphis, Arlington, and San Antonio have been eliminated. Seeding is still in play, so I don't anticipate teams resting their usual starters with two weeks left in the season.

We’re far enough into the season to trust the usage trends, but there’s still room for value, especially with injuries shaking up depth charts. Now’s the time to stay sharp, hunt leverage, and get weird when the slate calls for it.

Below are my thoughts on DraftKings' Week 9 DFS slate of UFL contests, which goes live on 5/23 at 8 ET. I encourage you to read all our other weekly UFL fantasy football articles and stay on top of injury news and roster moves to remain well-informed and ahead of the competition. Let's get to it. Good luck, RotoBallers!

DraftKings Quarterbacks - Week 9 UFL DFS Picks

Jordan Ta'amu - D.C. Defenders @ Houston Roughnecks - $11K

The Week 8 results confirm that I can't predict the future. Michigan's starting QB, Bryce Perkins, was unexpectedly scratched without notice, resulting in many dead DFS lineups before the game kicked off on Saturday. We're moving on from that debacle with the most consistent player in the UFL this season, Jordan Ta'amu.

He's averaging an astounding 28.6 DK PPG over his last five games, compiling an 11:1 TD:INT rate while punching in two scores on the ground during that stretch. Houston's pass defense is a middle-of-the-pack bunch, and this game has the highest implied total on the slate at 45.5 points. I'm riding with the expensive option at QB this week.

Bonus Picks: Max Duggan (St. Louis @ San Antonio - $9.7K), Jalen McClendon (Houston vs. D.C - $9K)

DraftKings Running Backs - Week 9 UFL DFS Picks

Jashaun Corbin - San Antonio Brahmas vs. St. Louis Battlehawks - $7.6K

My guy, Toa Taua, is officially too pricy, slotting in as the second-most expensive RB behind Jacob Saylors at an eye-opening $9K. Let's pivot to Jashaun Corbin, who has exploded onto the scene recently with games of 34.1 (Week 8) and 24.1 (Week 7) DK points. He saw 25-of-30 attempts out of the backfield last week, finishing with 143 yards and a score to go along with five catches for 38 yards through the air.

The Brahmas' new starter is affordable at $7.6K, and while his matchup against St. Louis isn't ideal, his volume and cheap price tag are. Pairing him as a runback with a strategic St. Louis stack (Max Duggan and Hakeem Butler) could be a difference-making route on this slate.

It is a risky play with San Antonio currently 6.5-point underdogs, but it's a gamble I'm willing to take in GPP lineup builds.

Jacob Saylors - St. Louis Battlehawks @ San Antonio Brahmas - $9.5k

We finally got another vintage Jacob Saylors game in Week 8. The star running back had a cold streak of four consecutive games with single-digit DK points, but he snapped that in a big way with 24.1 DK points against Birmingham in Week 8.

His matchup in Week 9 puts him in line for another huge game, so I'm more than willing to eat the salary to get him in lineups. The Brahmas have allowed the most rushing yards (992) and touchdowns (16) this season, so the top RB in the league should be able to take advantage.

DraftKings Wide Receivers and Tight Ends - Week 9 UFL DFS Picks

Daewood Davis - Memphis Showboats vs. Arlington Renegades - $7K

Daewood Davis was a stud in 2024, earning All-UFL honors in the league's inaugural season. However, he didn't make his 2025 debut until Week 7 due to injury, and he has failed to bring in any of his six targets through two weeks.

We can't feel too confident with that type of production to date, but he has proven himself in this league, and he's too cheap for a guy who should be among the leading target-earners on this team. The Showboats are 4.5-point underdogs at home against Arlington, a defense that has allowed the highest yards per reception (13) in the league this season.

Deon Cain - Birmingham Stallions vs. Michigan Panthers - $8.6K

Deon Cain is averaging the most DK PPG among WR/TEs at 13.4, but we're getting good value on him as the fourth-most expensive option on the slate. He arguably has the highest ceiling at the position, as evidenced by his 29.5 DK point explosion in Week 8.

According to most statistics, his Week 8 blowup came on the road in St. Louis, which has a decent pass defense. He gets the juiciest matchup possible in Week 9 against Michigan, a defense that has allowed the most passing yards (1,632), passing touchdowns (11), and completions (151) in the UFL this season.

Bonus Pick: Jace Sternberger - Birmingham vs. Michigan - $4.5K)
