PrizePicks NBA DFS Prop Picks - Today's Over/Under Props for Sunday, April 21st

luka doncic NBA dfs lineup picks daily fantasy basketball advice

Lance Roberson presents his Fantasy Score NBA DFS prop picks on PrizePicks for Sunday, April 21. Use Lance's NBA prop picks recommendations to win money on PrizePicks.

The 2023-2024 NBA playoffs are here, and our friends over at PrizePicks still have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power or flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the industry's best and easiest-to-win NBA DFS games. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people; you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER,' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For the NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, April 21.

Single Stat NBA Totals - DFS Prop Picks

Editor's Note: Prize Picks prop totals are not always available first thing in the morning, so check back during the day, as other props may be added during the day.

Luka Doncic OVER 52.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists - Playoff basketball is back, and placing props wouldn't feel right without picking Luka Doncic. For the third time in the Doncic era, the Dallas Mavericks face the Los Angeles Clippers in the postseason. Although Doncic hasn't slayed the giant in Los Angeles, his numbers stack rather high in his 13 career playoff games vs. the Clippers; Doncic averaged 33.5 points, 9.5 assists, and 8.8 rebounds. Doncic's day could feel easier in light of Kawhi Leonard's gametime status, as he's currently listed as questionable due to inflation in his right knee.

Regardless of Leonard's status, I would slam the over on the 52.5 combined points, rebounds, and assists prop. Look for Doncic to make a statement in Game 1.

Daniel Gafford OVER 1.5 Blocks - Thank goodness, the Mavericks no longer must play Maxi Kleber or Dwight Powell at starting center. Whether you're a fan of Dallas or not, it wasn't a pretty sight on most nights. In the last 15 games of the season, the Mavericks ranked first in defensive rating, in large part due to Daniel Gafford's defensive efforts and intensity. Over the last five games of the season, Gafford averaged two rejections per game.

With the playoffs here, expect Gafford's intensity and focus to increase, especially with a rival team on the other side of the ball. Moreover, I would take the over on 1.5 blocks for Gafford.

Derrick White OVER 2.5 3-PT Made - Derrick White was an underrated aspect of the 2023 Boston Celtics postseason run. Averaging 13.4 points on an overly efficient 45 percent shooting from the three-point line, White is primed for another stellar playoff run. While the Celtics' depth chart beefed up this past offseason, I still expect White's production to mirror or surpass last postseason's numbers. Although the Miami Heat historically cause issues for Boston, without Jimmy Butler in the lineup, I expect fun to be had for the Celtics role players.

Ultimately, I would tap the over on 2.5 three-point shots made for White.

Damian Lillard UNDER 7.5 Assists - It truly is Dame Time in Milwaukee, as the Bucks are without Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf strain) for Game 1 of the NBA playoffs. It's been a long season for Damian Lillard. Despite being traded to a championship contender (although not the one he initially pined for), the vibes are not good for the former Portland Trail Blazer. Without Antetokounmpo's presence, Lillard must go nuclear for the Bucks to beat the Indiana Pacers.

In the eight games without Antetokounmpo in the lineup, Lillard averaged 29.9 points and 7.6 assists. Today's prop for Lillard involves assists. I predict Lillard will focus on scoring rather than finding an open teammate. Bang the under on 7.5 assists for Lillard.
