Should I Start Christian Kirk for Fantasy Football?

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Christian Kirk is coming off a six-catch, 104-yard outing when the Jags took a 34-3 beating from the San Francisco 49ers in Week 10. An encouraging sign for Kirk fantasy owners to see that type of production in such a one-sided game.

Despite the addition of WR Calvin Ridley to this Jacksonville offense, it’s been Kirk who has been the lead man for QB Trevor Lawrence. Kirk has led the Jags in receiving yards on the season with 624 and ranks first amongst Jacksonville’s pass-catchers in targets with 71.

Now he faces an AFC South rival when the Jaguars host the Tennesee Titans in Week 11. The Titans’ defense has struggled against receivers over their last few games, allowing the tenth most fantasy points to the position in their last four contests.

A good sign for Kirk to have solid production as the Jags look to bounce back from an embarrassing Week 10 loss. Our recommendation is to start Kirk In Week 11.

Should I Start Puka Nacua for Fantasy Football?

Los Angeles Rams rookie WR has arguably been the steal of the first half of the 2023 fantasy season. After going undrafted in many fantasy drafts this offseason, he currently stands as the WR10 in half-PPR formats.

Despite his meteoric rise, the rookie has struggled in his last two outings. He posted a four-catch, 43-yard stat line in Week 8 and then followed it up with a three-catch, 32-yard outing in Week 9.

Now, coming off of a bye and getting his starting QB Matthew Stafford back, he’s set to face an NFC West rival in the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks' defense has surpassed expectations so far this season, but that shouldn’t be a reason to be concerned about Nacua’s fantasy performance this week.

In games where Stafford started for the Rams this season, Nacua has averaged roughly 11 targets per game as well as 99 receiving yards. The last time the Rams and Seahawks squared off, Nacua posted a ten-catch, 119-yard stat line in his first-ever NFL appearance.

As long as Stafford is healthy, Nacua is a safe start in lineups with his high-end volume and target share. Our recommendation is to start him in Week 11.

Should I Start Jordan Addison for Fantasy Football?

Speaking of stud rookie receivers, Vikings WR Jordan Addison has lived up to his 2023 first-round draft pick so far this season. The former USC Trojan has averaged roughly six catches for 82 yards in his last four games, scoring three touchdowns in the process.

There have been a lot of ebbs and flows surrounding this Minnesota offense so far this season. With the IR stint of WR Justin Jefferson (hamstring), a season-ending Achilles injury for QB Kirk Cousins, and QB Joshua Dobbs becoming the starter on incredibly short notice, the Vikings have already had their fair share of adversity this season.

Yet while all this has unfolded, the Vikings have strung together five consecutive wins. They’re now set to play the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football.

Despite currently being the league’s worst scoring defense allowing 27.6 points per game, the Broncos D has stood firm in their three-game win streak. Over this span, they have not allowed any receiver to go for more than 60 yards.

The most recent reports have indicated that Jefferson (hamstring) is unlikely to go for the Vikings in Week 11. In games without Jefferson this season, Addison has averaged roughly seven targets a game and 71 receiving yards.

If Jefferson doesn’t play, Addison can be included in lineups as a solid WR2/3 option. Our recommendation is to start him.
