Byron Buxton Takes Monday's Game Off
Byron Buxton was not in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Chicago White Sox. It appears to be a normal day of rest for Buxton while he's eased into action as the primary designated hitter for the team early in the year. The 29-year-old is off to a good start at the plate, too, hitting .324 (11-for-34) with a double, triple, home run, three RBI and seven runs scored in his first eight games in 2023. As long as he's healthy, he needs to be in all fantasy starting lineups when he's playing for the Twins. With Buxton resting Monday, Jose Miranda got the start as the DH and is hitting second for the Twins against White Sox right-hander Dylan Cease. Willi Castro is playing third base and batting seventh in the lineup.
