DraftKings And FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (3/22/23): NBA DFS Lineups

Julius Randle - NBA DFS Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball Betting, Prop Picks

We have a big 10-game slate Wednesday night with plenty of playoff-relevant matchups, which is naturally good news from a DFS perspective since it ups the chances of star players logging heavy minutes.

The number of games between contenders also increases the odds of plenty of wire-to-wire battles, and fortunately, we have plenty of appealing candidates to choose from at each position across the salary cap.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for the respective main slates on DraftKings and FanDuel on 3/22/23. Remember to monitor the NBA injury report as the slate can completely change before lineups lock, which is at 7:00 pm ET. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Damian Lillard - PG, POR at UTA ($10,500 DK, $10,300 FD)

Lillard has averaged 57.5 DK points in two prior games against the Jazz this season, shooting a blistering 53.5 percent in the process. The All-Star guard is also on an extended tear that's seen him average well over 50 fantasy points per game across his last 17 contests while shooting an impressive 38.0 percent from three-point range.

The Jazz are allowing the eighth-highest offensive efficiency rating to point guards (28.2), along with 47.2 percent shooting, including 37.6 percent from three-point range. Utah is also allowing the fifth-most DK (53.6) and third-most FD (53.4) points per game to the position in the last 15 contests, making Lillard's case all the more appealing.

Chris Paul - PG, PHX at LAL ($7,600 DK, $8,100 FD)

Paul put up 50.5 DK/50.8 FD points in his one prior meeting with the Lakers this season, and Los Angeles checks in allowing the seventh-highest offensive efficiency rating to point guards (28.3), along with the fourth-most DK (53.7) and fifth-most FD (52.1) points per game to the position in the last 15 games.

Paul checks in running hot as well, having averaged a well-balanced 13.1 points, 10.3 assists, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.2 steals across his last 16 games. Those numbers have led to six tallies of over 40 fantasy points in that sample, excellent returns for Paul's current salaries.

Gary Trent Jr. - SG/SF, TOR vs. IND ($5,200 DK, $5,800 FD)

Trent makes for an intriguing tournament value play Wednesday given his ability to pile up points in a hurry with his three-point shooting. The Pacers make for good targets, considering they're tied for the third-highest three-point shooting percentage allowed overall (37.3) and have conceded an even higher 39.2 percent from behind the arc to shooting guards specifically.

Indiana has also allowed an Eastern Conference-high offensive efficiency rating to two-guards (25.4), as well as the fifth-most DK (45.7) and FD (44.4) points per game to the position in the last 30 games. Meanwhile, Trent checks in having eclipsed 30 fantasy points in nine of his last 18 games, offering a glimpse of the upside he brings at his modest salaries.

ALSO CONSIDER: Trae Young - PG, ATL at MIN ($9,400 DK, $10,000 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Julius Randle - PF, NYK at MIA ($9,300 DK, $9,400 FD)

Randle will undoubtedly be very popular following his career-best 57-point effort against the Timberwolves, but there are reasons beyond that to consider rostering him Wednesday.

The big man scored 63.3 DK/58.3 FD points in his one prior meeting against the Heat this season as well, and he's been a more productive player on the road with 27.3 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per contest, along with 47.7 percent shooting, including 38.1 percent from three-point range.

Randle has also been outpacing his current salaries with regularity of late even when factoring out his aforementioned breakout against Minnesota -- he averaged 26.8 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 4.6 assists across the previous 26 games as well.

Kyle Anderson - SF/PF, MIN vs. ATL ($7,000 DK, $7,500 FD)

Anderson has been filling out the stat sheet in impressive fashion recently and could once again take the floor without Anthony Edwards (ankle) in Wednesday's game. The veteran's recent strong play predates Edwards' absence, however, as he's averaged 12.8 points, 8.8 assists, 8.3 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks while shooting 48.5 percent in his last six games.

The Hawks make for good targets Wednesday, as they're allowing the seventh-highest offensive efficiency rating to power forwards (27.5), along with the fourth-most DK (51.0) and third-most FD (50.3) points per game to the position in the last 15 games. It's also worth noting Atlanta is yielding an elevated 9.0 steals per contest in the last three games, a vulnerability the defensive-minded Anderson is certainly capable of taking advantage of.

Ochai Agbaji - SF/SG, UTA vs. POR ($5,000 DK, $4,700 FD)

Agbaji has put plenty of good play on tape since the last game before the All-Star break, averaging 13.4 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.7 assists over his last 12 contests while shooting a solid 36.8 percent from three-point range. The rookie 14th overall pick has drawn nine straight starts as well, and the absences of Collin Sexton (hamstring) and Jordan Clarkson (finger) that have helped make his first-unit run possible will continue Wednesday.

Lauri Markkanen (back) could also sit out Wednesday's contest, which would give Agbaji even more opportunity. The Trail Blazers make for alluring targets as well, considering Portland is allowing 40.1 percent three-point shooting to two-guards, along with the most DK (49) and most FD (48.1) points per contest to the position in the last 15 games.

ALSO CONSIDER: Giannis Antetokounmpo - PF/C, MIL vs. SAS ($11,800 DK, $11,700 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Nikola Jokic - DEN at WAS ($11,500 DK, $11,900 FD)

Jokic is looking to lead the Nuggets out of an especially untimely late-season slump, and his upside naturally exceeds even his lofty salaries. He could be in line for an especially explosive outing Wednesday, considering the Wizards are allowing the 10th-highest offensive efficiency rating to centers (32.7), along with 58.9 DK/60.1 FD points per contest to the position in the last 15 games.

Jokic has been a triple-double machine all season, and he comes into Wednesday's contest having eclipsed 60 fantasy points on either site in four of the last six games alone. The big man also eviscerated the Wizards in his one prior meeting with them, compiling 82 DK/81.8 FD points on the strength of a 43-point, 14-rebound double-double.

Pascal Siakam -  C/PF, TOR vs. IND ($8,800 DK, $8,700 FD)

Siakam is in a particularly advantageous position Wednesday, as the Pacers are allowing the seventh-highest offensive efficiency rating to centers (34.4), along with 66.5 DK/66.1 FD points to the position in the last seven games. Indy has also yielded 58.4 percent shooting to fives, and he put up 44.8 DK/41.9 FD points in his one prior game against the Pacers.

Siakam's production has fluctuated from time to time, but he's averaging 45.5 DK/42.4 FD points per contest for the season. He's also corroborated his ability to significantly outpace his salaries by hitting 50 or more DK points on 18 occasions and has eclipsed the threshold on FD in 19 instances as well.

ALSO CONSIDER: Jakob Poeltl - C, TOR vs. IND ($6,900 DK, $7,400); Jonathan Kuminga - C/PF, GSW at DAL ($5,100 DK, $5,600)
