FanDuel NFL DFS Lineup Picks for Week 17 - Daily Fantasy Football Targets Include Patrick Mahomes, Daniel Jones, D'Andre Swift, Saquon Barkley, Justin Jefferson, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Travis Kelce

Saquon Barkley - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

Dennis Clausen highlights the top FanDuel NFL DFS lineup picks for Week 17 of the 2022 season, and some value sleepers for your daily fantasy football rosters.

Happy New Year, everyone. And good luck to those playing for a fantasy championship. Unfortunately, winning may prove difficult for some, especially for the fantasy managers dealing with injuries. There are a ton of players banged up entering the slate (too many to mention).

However, the collective absences of these superstars will undoubtedly create value opportunities for FanDuel's 13-game main contest, which now includes the Sunday night AFC North battle between Pittsburgh and Baltimore, courtesy of flex scheduling. Then, of course, the quarterback carousel around the National Football League will only add to what is sure to be a chaotic Week 17.

In this article, I will be providing you with my Week 17 daily fantasy football lineup picks for FanDuel. These lineups can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. Be sure to also check out our weekly DraftKings DFS lineup picks and lots of other great NFL DFS articles and NFL DFS tools to help you win big! Also, feel free to give me a follow on Twitter @DennisMClausen. FanDuel Quarterbacks - Week 17 DFS Lineup Picks

Patrick Mahomes - vs. DEN ($9,000)

The Chiefs hope to secure the top spot in the American Football Conference. With the Bengals and Bills slugging it out on Monday night, Kansas City, on the other hand, draws a favorable matchup against Denver, a team that recently parted ways with head coach Nathaniel Hackett. The Chiefs and Broncos had one of their two yearly meetings less than a month ago, Week 14 to be exact, which resulted in Mahomes throwing for 352 yards and three touchdowns.

Too bad the signal-caller also tossed three picks, ultimately limiting what would have been one of his best showings of the season. Nevertheless, this time these clubs will meet at Arrowhead and away from the challenging elevation of the Mile High City. As a result, Mahomes will have the edge against a Broncos team limping its way to the finish line.

Daniel Jones - vs. IND ($7,300)

Jones didn't do much last season. He threw only 10 touchdowns while amassing seven interceptions and completing only 64.3% of his throws. The former Duke Blue Devil also suffered a season-ending neck injury and landed on the injured reserve list. These factors led to the team declining his fifth-year option during the offseason.

However, Jones has performed better this year and continues to play a pivotal role in the team's success. That said, the Giants have more work to do to ensure a spot in the postseason, so the 25-year-old needs to show up in Week 17 versus the Colts. There's a good chance he will, so DFS managers need to keep him on the radar, especially with such a generous rostering cost.

Also Consider: Jared Goff ($7,400), Aaron Rodgers ($7,100)

FanDuel Running Backs - Week 17 DFS Lineup Picks

Saquon Barkley - vs. IND ($9,200)

With a win on Sunday, the Giants will advance to the postseason. While New York has a fantastic matchup on the horizon against the 4-10-1 Colts, the team will need Barkley to be involved, just like he has all season. The former Nittany Lion has already surpassed the 1,000-yard rushing mark for the first time since his sophomore campaign.

He also remains involved on the receiving end, coming off a season-high eight-catch showing against the Vikings on Christmas Eve. With so many injuries at the running back spot in Week 17, Barkley, who's found the end zone in four of his last five games, should be a popular DFS option, especially with a weak Colts run-stop unit on tap.

D'Andre Swift - vs. CHI ($7,100)

The Lions took an ugly loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 16. Yet, although the chances are slim, the team remains in the hunt for a playoff spot. The good news is that Detroit has an NFC North showdown versus the Bears, with Chicago allowing 16 rushing touchdowns this season, the second-worst mark in the National Football League.

As a result, Swift may flourish on Sunday. The 23-year-old appears to be much closer to 100% than he was during the season. He's been more involved than Jamaal Williams of late, who had only 37 offensive snaps in the last two weeks. With that in mind, Swift has plenty of upside. But Williams remains a reasonable alternative for tournament formats.

Also Consider: Christian McCaffrey ($9,500), Travis Etienne Jr. ($7,700), Miles Sanders ($6,800)

FanDuel Wide Receivers - Week 17 DFS Lineup Picks

Justin Jefferson - @ GB ($9,200)

Jefferson has played great this season. However, the wideout has recently been more of a nightmare for opposing defenses than he's been all year. In the last three weeks, he caught 35 of his 47 targets while also combining for 479 yards and two touchdowns.  While the Vikings have the NFC North crown secured, there is a minimal chance the club will grab the No. 1 spot in the conference.

But first, Minnesota must get through Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. Jefferson had arguably his best performance of the season against Green Bay back in Week 1, accumulating nine receptions for 184 yards and two touchdowns. The Packers are looking to sneak into the playoffs, so the team will be ready to roll in Week 17. That said, Kirk Cousins would love to prevent Green Bay from extending its season, meaning he'll likely continue to look in Jefferson's direction often on Sunday.

Amon-Ra St. Brown - vs. CHI ($8,200)

What a fantastic year St. Brown has had. Granted, he has scored in only four games this season. On the other hand, the former USC Trojan gets plenty of looks from Jared Goff, receiving at least nine targets in 11 of his 14 games in 2022-23.

The Bears defense allowed him to catch 10 balls for 119 yards to finish with 17.1 fantasy points earlier in the season. Things shouldn't be much different this time around, at least in terms of St. Brown's involvement, mainly since the Lions desperately need a win in Week 17.

Also Consider: Tyreek Hill ($9,000), Christian Watson ($7,600), Allen Lazard ($6,200)

FanDuel Tight Ends - Week 17 DFS Lineup Picks

Travis Kelce - vs. DEN ($8,300)

Everyone will agree T.J. Hockenson will be a coveted DFS option in Week 17, mainly after his 13-catch, 109-yard, two-touchdown performance against the Giants. However, there haven't been many times a tight end has been productive in consecutive games this year, so Kelce remains the safest choice for DFS managers.

In the last two weeks, the veteran has caught 16 of his 18 targets to total 218 yards. Kelce didn't fare too well in his first encounter with the Broncos less than a month ago. Yet, he's played much better against Denver at Arrowhead throughout his career, including compiling four touchdowns and averaging nearly seven catches and 97 receiving yards per game.

Also Consider: Evan Engram ($5,800), Cole Kmet ($5,300)
