Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks

Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 12:

Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Carolina Panthers

Carolina Panthers rookie wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan caught eight of 12 targets for 130 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's Week 11 win over the Atlanta Falcons in overtime.

Tetairoa McMillan continues to trend up and showcase a phenomenal rapport with Bryce Young, fetching at least eight targets in eight of his first 11 games.

The rookie set new season-highs (and, thus, career-highs) in targets, catches, and receiving yards on Sunday. He'll look to build on his momentum as a high-end WR2 with WR1 upside entering Week 12 against the San Francisco 49ers.

Woody Marks, RB, Houston Texans

Houston Texans running back Woody Marks played 66% of snaps in Sunday's win over the Titans, compared to just 26% for Nick Chubb. The rookie seems to be taking over as the team's lead option in the backfield, but this week, he only managed 44 rushing yards on his 18 carries while adding a seven-yard reception on his only target.

He remains a dual-threat running back with a high ceiling for the Texans, who come home to face the Bills on a short week this Thursday night. They'll need to be much more effective on offense if they want to keep up with the high-scoring Buffalo offense after managing just 16 points and one offensive touchdown against the Titans.

Woody Marks should be a key to finding more fantasy success in the coming weeks, but he'll remain a "boom-or-bust" play even in his favorable Week 12 matchup.

Jayden Higgins, WR, Houston Texans

Houston Texans wide receiver Jayden Higgins finished second on the team with 55 receiving yards on Sunday against the Titans, hauling in four of his seven targets. The rookie played 43 snaps compared to 37 for Xavier Hutchinson and 36 for Christian Kirk, getting slightly more work than the two more experienced options.

Higgins also had more targets than any other wide receiver except Nico Collins. Higgins has shown good upside over the last few weeks and seems to be climbing the depth chart. He is still high-risk on a short week against the Bills this Thursday, but he does have at least four catches and at least seven targets in three of his last four games.

C.J. Stroud (concussion) gives the offense a higher ceiling if he's able to return, but Higgins has worked well with Davis Mills as well, making him a rookie to watch the rest of the season and possibly grab from the waiver wire if you need receiver depth and like his upside.

TreVeyon Henderson, RB, New England Patriots

New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson capitalized on a favorable matchup against the New York Jets in Week 11, scoring three touchdowns as the Patriots became the first team in the NFL to reach nine wins this season. Henderson totaled 19 carries, 62 rushing yards, two rushing touchdowns, five catches, 31 receiving yards, and one receiving touchdown.

While he remained relatively inefficient in terms of yards per carry, he dominated in nearly every other category. Henderson took advantage of an increased workload with Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) sidelined, handling a career-high 88 percent snap share and 24 total touches.

Stevenson is getting closer to returning, but the rookie has proven that he deserves to be the lead back even when Stevenson is healthy. Henderson should continue to be viewed as a high-end RB2 in fantasy football.

Quinshon Judkins, RB, Cleveland Browns

Cleveland Browns running back Quinshon Judkins carried the ball 17 times for 59 yards and failed to catch either of his two targets in a 23-16 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 11.

Judkins was unable to capitalize on what appeared to be a good matchup on paper against the Baltimore run defense, as he managed just 3.5 yards per carry in the loss.

The rookie has now been held out of the end zone in three consecutive games as the Cleveland offense continues to struggle to move the ball. Judkins will look to bounce back in Week 12 against the Las Vegas Raiders on the road.

Improvements For Who Should I Start? You may have noticed that our 'Who Should I Start?' tool has gotten an overhaul. We've added lots of great features for you to give you as much information as possible to win your fantasy football matchups each week. You'll see NFL player tiles with headshots and bye weeks, stats, projections, strength of schedule, players news, and enhanced search results with data to compare with a slick new interface. We hope you enjoy!

How It Works. Each week our RotoBaller staff puts together their weekly fantasy football rankings and projections based on their research. If someone is out for the week, they will not appear in the search results.

Scoring Formats. Fantasy football managers play in various types of leagues, and this tool allows you to choose whether it's PPR scoring, Half-PPR scoring, or Standard (Non-PPR) scoring. The second thing you want to do, is to select the scoring format. There are three small radio buttons (small circle), so click on the scoring format you prefer. The results may vary based on the scoring format you select.
