Who Should I Start for Fantasy Football Week 15? Tony Pollard, Najee Harris, Jaylen Warren

Jaylen Warren - Fantasy Football Rankings, Waiver Wire Pickups, Draft Sleepers

Who should I start for Week 15? Fantasy football outlooks for Tony Pollard, Najee Harris, Jaylen Warren. Our expert fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks.

Did you know that it's Week 15, which means the fantasy football playoffs are about to start? Pretty cool. Well, depending on what kind of shape your rosters are heading into the weekend, at least. Running back is one of the most important positions to nail in drafts, along with waiver and free agency pickups.

The value many of the best running backs have over their free agent replacements in any given week is massive. Because fantasy production is more concentrated at this position than in others, and because the floor for replacement players is often so low, it's important to make the right start-sit decisions.

Let's examine three commonly rostered backs and whether you should start them in Week 15.

Should I Start Tony Pollard for Fantasy Football?

Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard (ankle) wasn't able to practice on Wednesday, but he's played through his ankle issue all season and done just fine. He gets a fantastic matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 15, who have one of the league's worst defenses.

He's clearly back to form now after a down year in 2023. He simply needed extra time to return to 100% after suffering a broken leg near the end of the 2022 season. While his offensive line has struggled to block well for him for most of the season, he's been fantastic at creating yards after contact and still has impressive burst and top-end speed.

Start him in all leagues.

Should I Start Najee Harris for Fantasy Football?

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris didn't practice on Wednesday due to rest, but he's not in danger of missing Week 15. He still maintains a prominent role in an excellent offense, and though he only scored 11.3 PPR fantasy points in Week 14, he's still worth starting in leagues with 12 or more teams.

Pittsburgh's offense tends to be run-heavy, but they're fine with pivoting mostly to the pass when they get caught in shootouts, like the one last week. After the bye, Harris' production has fallen off somewhat, and he's failed to surpass 12 FPTs more than once since then. He'll face a tough Philadelphia Eagles defense as well.

Still, we'd recommend starting him as an RB3/FLEX in leagues with 12 or more teams. Even many rosters in 10-team leagues may not have anyone better to start in his place. His floor is propped up well by nice volume and goal-line opportunities. We prefer Pollard over him if you're choosing between the two.

Should I Start Jaylen Warren for Fantasy Football?

Warren, also of the Steelers, has had a decent stretch of games in recent weeks, but it's still hard to recommend starting him outside of deeper leagues. He generally needs a touchdown and good passing-game usage to go along with nice efficiency to be worth it, and it's not easy to get all three of those things every week.

He's the clear RB2 and doesn't get nearly as much work as Harris, making him inconsistent and hard to trust in Week 15. If you're in a league with 14 or more teams or very deep starting rosters, he's worth slotting in. Otherwise, you may want to leave him on the bench. Obviously, we'd rather start Pollard or Harris than Warren easily.
