Tony Pollard fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 8 (2024). Should you start or sit Tony Pollard for fantasy football lineups in Week 8?
BALLER MOVE: Start in all formats unless elite RB options are available
POSITIONAL VALUE: Low-end RB2
ANALYSIS: This week is a brutal matchup for Tony Pollard and the struggling Tennessee Titans offense as they'll face off against the red-hot Detroit Lions and their stout run defense. Fellow teammate Tyjae Spears was limited in practice on Thursday with a hamstring and it's hard to imagine the team risking playing him this week, which means Pollard should see plenty of touches again.
Tony Pollard has been the ONLY reliable fantasy weapon for the #TitanUp Titans this season.
Off of a disappointing performance, do you see him bouncing against the #OnePride Lions D this week?

Pollard hasn't had any monster games thus far, but he's finished as an RB14 or better in three of the Titans' six games thus far.
Detroit's defense has allowed the seventh-fewest fantasy points to running backs and is in the top five in the fewest rushing yards allowed per game. You likely have to play Pollard this week given his guaranteed volume, but the Titans are 11-point road underdogs. Temper your expectations.
