Sean Tucker fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 9 (2024). Should you start or sit Sean Tucker for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Sit in all formats until he earns more touches
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB5
ANALYSIS: The Bucs offense has taken a nosedive in fantasy. With Chris Godwin out for the season and Mike Evans on IR for the next two games, things are looking rough. And to top it off, the backfield has turned into a full-blown committee, with Rachaad White, Bucky Irving, and Sean Tucker all sharing snaps.
Tucker had a mini breakout in Week 6 when White was out, posting 17 touches for 192 yards and two touchdowns against the Saints. After that game, head coach Todd Bowles even mentioned riding the hot hand. But since then, Tucker has just nine touches for 53 yards and no scores over his last two games, definitely not the kind of production you can rely on.
#Bucs HC Todd Bowles on Sean Tucker only playing 7 snaps and whether he’s the lesser third of the three-headed monster:
“I think it’ll change every week. We got behind, and that was probably less Tucker’s thing. But he’s gonna get more touches, he’s gonna get more plays and more… pic.twitter.com/drWME2rnGu

For now, White remains the safest fantasy option in the Bucs backfield thanks to his big-play potential. Unless something shifts in this rotation, Tucker is probably only worth a spot in the deepest leagues.
