William Contreras Resting Against Cubs
2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers catcher William Contreras is getting the day off on Sunday in the series finale against the Chicago Cubs. In his place, Victor Caratini will do the catching and will hit seventh against Cubs right-hander Jameson Taillon. Contreras will get his first day off of the season after going 2-for-8 with two RBI and four strikeouts in the first two games of the regular season. Caratini, 29, has very limited DFS upside in his first start for the Brewers this year. Last year in 95 games for the Brew Crew, he slashed just .199/.300/.342 with a .642 OPS, nine home runs, 34 RBI and 26 runs scored in 314 plate appearances.
