Victor Robles Cleared For Winter Ball
1 year agoWashington Nationals outfielder Victor Robles (back), who missed most of the 2023 season with a back injury, was recently cleared to play winter ball. If he can stay healthy, he's expected to be in the team's center field plans, or at least until the young prospects arrive at the big-league level. The 26-year-old specifically dealt with lumbar-spine spasms and played in only 36 games, going 32-for-107 (.299) with no homers, five doubles, a triple, eight RBI, eight stolen bases and 15 runs scored. Robles has mostly disappointed in his seven years in the big leagues with Washington, slashing a weak .238/.312/.360 with 31 home runs, 154 RBI and 66 stolen bases in 516 games. However, he will be useful for his speed in deeper fantasy leagues if he's starting regularly and is healthy to begin the 2024 season.
