Tyler Warren Getting Rushing Work in Practice
Tyler Warren took simulated handoffs from the fullback spot during positional drills at the team's Tuesday practice, according to Noah Compton of The Blue Stable Podcast. In his final collegiate season at Penn State, Warren recorded 26 carries for 218 yards and four touchdowns. His primary impact was as a receiver (104 catches for 1,233 yards), and that should continue in the NFL, but it's noteworthy that the Colts coaching staff is open to using Warren out of the backfield. Given that Indianapolis used their first-round selection in this year's draft on Warren, he should be a significant part of their offensive plan of attack. He profiles as a low-end TE1 for re-draft fantasy leagues in 2025, but that could change if he gets real work as a rusher, particularly around the goal line.
