Grayson Rodriguez Getting Multiple Opinions on his Elbow
Grayson Rodriguez (elbow) is getting multiple opinions on his injured right elbow, but there are no further updates, according to Jake Rill of MLB.com. Rodriguez hasn't pitched at all in 2024 due to elbow and lat injuries. The Orioles are doing their due diligence on the 25-year-old, but the longer he goes without throwing, the less likely it is that he'll return to help Baltimore and fantasy managers down the stretch, especially with the team not in the hunt for a playoff spot. In a best-case scenario, Rodriguez probably wouldn't be able to join the big-league rotation for his season debut until late August or even early September. Left-hander Trevor Rogers has been the primary beneficiary in the O's rotation this year with Rodriguez sidelined and has had a nice bounce-back campaign after struggling upon his arrival to Baltimore after a trade from the Marlins last year.
