Victor Robles Cleared for Rehab Assignment
Victor Robles (shoulder) has been out since early April with a small fracture in the humeral head of his left shoulder. He is now scheduled to start a rehab assignment with Triple-A Tacoma on August 12. This puts the 28-year-old ahead of schedule for his expected return, and the Mariners are aiming for Robles to get 40-50 at-bats before being activated from the injured list. Dominic Canzone has been filling in for Robles in the outfield and looks to share playing time when Robles returns. Fantasy managers looking for speed could add Robles, as he swiped 34 bags last year and had three bases stolen in 10 games this year before his injury.
