Trevor Story To Start Throwing In Two Weeks
Trevor Story (elbow) remains on the same rehab schedule and is set to start throwing in two weeks (14 weeks post-surgery) and hitting in four weeks (16 weeks post-surgery). Story is expected to be out at least through the All-Star break after he had an internal-bracing procedure done on his right elbow to help fix damage in his UCL in January. It sounds like everything is going well for the 30-year-old, who is fully expected to be the team's regular shortstop when he's deemed healthy enough to make his 2023 debut. He's worth stashing in most leagues, but it remains to be seen if he can bounce back in the second half this year after disappointing in his first year in Beantown in 2022, when he hit .238 with 16 home runs, 66 RBI, 53 runs and 13 stolen bases in 94 games.
