3 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars signed quarterback Trevor Lawrence, the No. 1 overall pick, to a four-year, $36.8 million deal on Monday, according to a source. The deal includes $24.1 million in guaranteed money and the standard fifth-year option. The Jaguars haven't officially named Lawrence as the Week 1 starter in his rookie year, but it's only a matter of time before that happens. Lawrence has all the tools and intangibles to be a great signal-caller in the NFL, but fantasy managers in redraft leagues shouldn't get caught too much in the hype and expect him to be a QB1 right away. The Clemson product will have his moments, but this coaching staff won't put too much on his plate with other offensive weapons at their disposal.
