Tim Patrick Hoping To Keep Touchdown Streak Alive
4 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick has been a surprise early in the season. He's stepped up with Courtland Sutton (knee) out for the season, and he could have another big game on Monday night against the Patriots with both tight end Noah Fant (ankle) and receiver K.J. Hamler (hamstring) ruled out. Patrick has at least five targets in three of the four games and has found paydirt in back-to-back weeks. In total, he's caught 16 of his 21 targets for 209 yards and two touchdowns through four games. Patrick hasn't had a good game with quarterback Drew Lock (shoulder) in the lineup yet, but he'll be facing a Patriots Defense without All-Pro cornerback Stephon Gilmore this week. The Pats have also allowed seven touchdowns to opposing wideouts, giving Patrick some more WR4/flex appeal in deeper leagues on Monday night.
