Seahawks Optimistic About Carlos Dunlap
4 years agoSeattle Seahawks defensive end Carlos Dunlap (foot) was rested in the Week 14 win over the Jets, and the team is optimistic that he will be able to return in Week 15 against the Washington Football Team. The Seahawks will know more on Dunlap on Wednesday during their first practice of the week. Seattle's defensive unit was an excellent choice for fantasy managers against the winless Jets, and they did not disappoint. That could be the case again this weekend, especially if Dunlap returns and Washington quarterback Alex Smith (calf) sits out. The 31-year-old Dunlap has been a big boost for Seattle's pass rush in his five games this year, recording 3.5 sacks, five tackles for loss and seven QB hits after coming over from the Bengals. Dunlap could be a strong defensive line play in IDP leagues if he makes his return on Sunday.
