Seahawks Keeping Dion Jordan
7 years agoThe Seattle Seahawks placed an original-round tender on restricted free-agent defensive end Dion Jordan on Wednesday, meaning he'll receive a salary of $1.907 million in 2018. Seattle can match any offer another team signs Jordan to or receive a first-round pick as compensation. Jordan was the third overall pick by Miami in 2013 and missed all of the 2015 and 2016 seasons due to a drug suspension and a knee injury. However, he had four sacks in five games for Seattle last year and could be a post-hype breakout on defense next season if he can stay on the field.
