The Seattle Seahawks acquired cornerback John Reid from the Houston Texans on Tuesday in exchange for a conditional seventh-round pick in 2023, according to a source. It was initially reported that Houston outright waived Reid, but it looks like they were able to find a trade partner before going that route. Reid was a fourth-round pick last year and mainly was a special teams player for the Texans in his rookie season. The 25-year-old from Penn State had just 13 tackles (11 solo) and a pass defensed in 13 games (one start) in his rookie season in 2020. With Seattle, he'll merely serve as secondary and special teams depth.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
