Ravens "Hopeful" Emery Jones Jr. Will be Ready for Training Camp
Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said he's "hopeful" that rookie offensive lineman Emery Jones Jr. (shoulder) will be available "at some point" during training camp this summer. Jones has been dealing with a shoulder injury and has been unable to take part in offseason practices as he gets ready for his first year in the NFL. The 21-year-old third-rounder out of LSU has already lost valuable development time this spring and doesn't look likely to be ready for the start of training camp. When he's cleared to join the rest of his teammates, Jones figures to be competing for playing time at right guard on Baltimore's offensive line. The 6-foot-5, 315-pounder might be eased into a role in his first year in the NFL, but at the very least, he should be pushing for playing time at some point in 2025.
