1 year agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Rashid Shaheed (groin) didn't practice at training camp on Monday and is expected to miss a few weeks, according to a source. Shaheed should still be ready to go for Week 1 of the regular season, but he could miss all of preseason action. When healthy, he's expected to be the team's starting slot receiver after posting 33 catches for 484 yards and two touchdowns in 2022. Tre'Quan Smith is also battling a groin injury at camp, so the Saints are short some receivers this week. Shaheed should be able to put up better numbers in his sophomore campaign with quarterback Derek Carr running the offense, even if Michael Thomas stays healthy. However, Shaheed is most likely going to go undrafted in standard 12-team fantasy leagues this fall.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
